I came to this place at 1am on a Sunday night when everything was closing in Amsterdam. The place was cozy, the service was good and I had some delicious beers.

Perfect place to sit outside and have a light bite. My beef carpaccio sandwich was possibly the best sandwich I've eaten in my nearly 40 years. Delicious bread. Lovely friendly staff. Went back during the week for evening bar snacks.

We went to have a bite and try the Dutch beer. Actually,it was the first place we stoped. The waiter was friendly and helped us choose the food and beer. The food was good and fast to come.

This is a typically trendy Amsterdam bar serving good beer and good food, made all the better by having it's own barge, made into an outdoor seating area moored up on the canal. Excellent.

It’s hard to pick a highlight. We loved the Dutch cheese plate with apple chutney and then we had some fantastic sandwiches. I enjoyed the chicken melt and the wife loved the bacon and Brie. Lastly we saw some Dutch enjoying some hot chocolate and...More

I stopped in here while strolling the Joordan neighborhood. They have outdoor, indoor window, & seating farther back in the restaurant. The music was light alternative & 80s pop, adding a gentle ambiance to the cafe. Each one of the tables has fresh flowers, adding...More

Even though it might not look like it, this place is really lively in the evenings. Mostly locals seem to hang out here at night and they’re open till late. The bartender is great and the beer is pretty cheap.

Really nice place, wide choice of beers and food to choose from. Great music. In summer the tables on the boat in front of the cafè are awesome!

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.

I do not believe they sell either the soup nor pancakes. They specialise in open sandwiches.
