My wife and I had the sea bass. It was amazing. We had beers and wine. The service was absolutely impeccable 🍷⭐️

Yes, the seafood was delightful and yes, the drinks were a high standard. That was just the beginning. What made the experience truly amazing was the outdoor setting overlooking the canal. This street is tucked away behind the hustle bustle of the red light district's...More

Wanted to sit outside for dinner and what a perfect spot. Had the king prawns to start and sea bass for main. Easily the most amazing food I’ve ever had. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

They have a small outdoor seating area right on the canal, so we went there late in the afternoon on a sunny day and enjoyed our beers. Just lovely and sweet.

Stopped here for drinks on a recent trip. We were able to get a table overlooking the canal. Prices were decent and service was great.

Stumbled across this beautiful little restaurant by accident , located at the top of the red light district but feeling like a world away ! We decided to stop off and enjoy the beautiful view after a days exploring. We sat canalside and soaked up...More

Two friends and I wound up dining here on our second of three nights in Amsterdam. I had spotted it as a likely candidate on Google Maps, both for its highly positive reviews and its proximity to the hotel where my friends were staying. The...More

The meal was very tasty and the house wine was surprisingly good! It has a cosy and friendly atmosphere. Very few places to eat in the red light district looked at all welcoming - this one was different.

Need I say more?!? Waiter was very fast in telling us not to move the table for our party of eight .... sorry! So we had to sit apart. The location is super, staff not.

Restaurant Olivar was a welcome relief for the noise and crowds on a busy Saturday night. The owner was warm and friendly. The food was great and the wine list complemented the Spanish cuisine. Though small and a full house we were not rushed. The...More

Description
We are a small exclusive restaurant with a southern European oriented kitchen. Our menu offers a select choice of traditional Spanish dishes and creations inspired by the Mediterranean cuisine. Our chefs are dedicated to prepare for our guests the best dishes with the finest ingredients. The restaurant is decorated in the southern Spanish style with original tiles and a long marble bar where you can enjoy our extensive wine list, have a meal or if you have not booked, have a drink while waiting for a table. For a snack and a drink you can also sit on the terace. In the summer you can enjoy watching the boats taking turns to sail through the narrow gate towards the open water or to the canals of the oldest and most beautiful part of Amsterdam.
