Just off the Vritjhof square, a small bar/restaurant, a few tables outside. It was 5pm and we asked if we could sit outside with a beer. Not possible, we had to sit inside in a small pokey area. Owner was very grumpy and not very...More

We were caught in the rain and decided to stop at this restaurant for a glass of wine and a snack. Our waitress was AMAZING!! Forgive me if I am spelling your name incorrectly - Zebbi. She introduced us to Bitterballen. Such a fun evening!

We did not book a table for two in advance but nonetheless we were warmly welcomed by the manager of Brasserie Keizer. As we had to catch a train later in the evening we could unfortunately only enjoy a main dish and some wine. The...More

We found the owner welcoming and friendly, service good and food excellent. Seems popular with local people and we had an enjoyable meal, well presented, with good service.

Thank you very much P.J.P. for your 4 stars. We do have just one star, in the kitchen.

After a citywalk in downtown Maastricht we had lunch at resto Keizer. Always good food! This time outside on the little terrace in front of the building. Nice interior. Friendly service. Don’t get some of the comments here on Tripadvisor; no humor these days among...More

Food was really good. But it was just the 4 of is on a Friday night. Service was ok, but a little strange, especially since we were the only customers. We ordered 3 times the carpaccio, but they only had 1 available. This turned out...More

This restaurant is two restaurants in one. We ate on the Burger Bar side. The burgers were great, the salad amazing, and even the fries with mayonnaise were good. But the best was hot lava cake with ice cream. Yum! The meal was a bit...More

We were there for tea with a group of 6 people. As it was close to university and I had been there with friends before, I recommended we go there. The owner, who took our order, was extremely rude. We all ordered drinks and burgers...More

Just off the Vrijtshof this is quite a unique place to eat. Service was exceptional and the food was good too. The brasserie is decorated stylishly and with many pieces of beautiful art.

This nice restaurant found its nieche on a corner close to St Servatius Basilica, which you will certainly visit. Don't miss the wonderful beer, the delicate and flavored food, served by the nice couple that owns the place.

Description
An exuberant city Maastricht. The Keizer karelplein a fancy Provencal square. As in the Lee of the always busy and nice Vrijthof. Between the entrance of the basilique of Saint Servais and the Vrijthof Square Theatre. We invite you to discover the flavours of our cuisine. Lia Veldt is a serious Cook and gourmet. She has lived for years in Provence. And like to make tasty things for you if you want Gerard Veldt, the Amsterdam host of Brasserie Emperor. He has a lot of experience with Provençal wines. He is also a very experienced barista who like a tasty cappuccino or espresso for you.
