We absolutely would have never found this place, but boy are we glad we did. The food was totally awesome and the menu cater for every taste. Service great and on quie. Just do your self a favour and go there you will be totally...surprised!!More

Having eaten at many fine dining institutions around the world, I have to say I was quite amazed what a local KZN chef has created. Dylan understands fusion flavours and his experience with Asian flavours pleased our palates. Service and presentation were excellent, but the...wow factor was the food....exceptional and totally unexpected in a back water like Port Shepstone. The prices are ridiculously cheap, and we could not recommend this restaurant more highly. Keep up the great work chef.More
We looking for something different while waiting for our son, who was attending a school function. We happily found The Cellar. It was a bit hidden, but the gps got us there easily enough. The food was absolutely delicious, and beautifully presented. The ambiance peaceful...and decor is inviting.More
The KZN south coast is a food wasteland, having tried 5 other places to eat (all very average to poor) finding the Cellar was a pleasant surprise. An interesting menu - not large but with some unique offerings. Really nice starters and the duck main...was really tasty. Excellent service and staff that know their stuff. I found this gem online and reserved a table for my husband's birthday celebration for just the two of us. And what an amazing supper it ended up being. We shared tapas for starters and thereafter I had the peri-peri chicken and my husband pork...belly for mains. We also had an Irish coffee and a cappuccino afterwards. We will most certainly be back in the near future. Everything was delicious and service was excellent.More
I have had several lunches & dinners here. I am yet to be disappointed. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a friendly, welcoming host/hostess. Food is presented like art on a plate and so so delicious. I am always left satisfied....You pay for what you get.More
When next down the South Coast of KZN book a table at The Cellar Restaurant set within the Honeywood Forest Lodge in Sea Park. We sat on the terrace , a lovely tranquil setting next to the pool in a tropical garden. We all opted...for the set menu ( this changes roughly every two weeks or so)which consisted of Salt & Pepper calamari to start , served with a tian of avo and confit cherry tomatoes servers with a chilli relish. Main was a chicken curry served with basmati and a naan, with fresh coriander and tomato salsa on the side. Dessert was a pineapple tart with cream cheese mouse finished with a citrus syrup. Every course was amazing and just enough for a lunch that was finished off with tea or coffee. The Staff are just as good and none could fault the entire experience.More
I took my BF for lunch at The Cellar Restaurant for her birthday. We did not have the set menu but rather chose to have a selection of the smaller items to share between us. The food was good and we both enjoyed the Waiter's...attention to us. He was constantly checking to see if all was okay. The desserts were pretty as a picture and tasty in some aspects but I think more for the acquired palette. We had a wonderful time though and we will definitely go back.More
