No other establishment in Newcastle can come even close to Tramonto if you are looking for accommodation or a good meal.
Fine dining menu at take away prices. Well-decorated dining area.
Prices are unbelievably reasonable. Food is excellent.
I have made the mistake of staying and dining at the terrible Newcastle Inn which is much more expensive and an absolute disgrace.
Such a pleasure finally staying at a decent place in Newcastle. Restaurant is simply the best in town.

What a great experience, food, treatment from employees , experience to be explored, their fresh and appetizing menu , variety of food / breakfast . Rooms are exceptionally good , you have to be there to experience the KIng's treatment

Good food and wine. The outlook of the restaurant was vintage and beautiful. Service was good. Good quality of food. Hospitable hosts and I recommend this restaurant.

Im a reverend from durban have a wedding tomorrow, so decided to sleep nearby, my wife chose this place, the welcoming service was excellent, escorted to our room, the room was beautiful and clean, im impressed, i have just orderd aand the menu looks appetizing, very exquisite and inviting.
Each room has its own private secluded patio
IM IMPRESSED, BELIEVE ME I ALWAYS COMPLAIN, BUT HERE I HAVENT.

This was in the lockdown time and we could only order a delivery. The food was ok but cold and overpriced. There are better places to order in from.

We were staying at a guest house close by and thought we try it out. The menu is extensive and although there were only two other diners after choosing our meal did take some time but we’ve learnt this is par for the course in SA. When the meal arrived it appeared our starter had been unavailable but the server hadn’t been told. We chose the tuna and lamb shank both were excellent and shared a very large malva pudding. The staff were very friendly excellent food at a reasonable price.

The facility is well situated, modern, well decorated and has the best accommodation in Newcastle. The restaurant is well managed, serving excellent meals, friendly and welcoming staff. Every time I think Newcastle, Tramonto crosses my mind.

We had lived in Newcastle until 23 years prior to this visit. (Now live in the USA). Tramonto did not exist when we lived there and is a relatively new restaurant. It is very tastefully decorated, white tablecloth restaurant. The waiters were very attentive. Great food selection. I had the chicken curry and it was delicious.

Received excellent service. I have special dietary requirements and I arranged beforehand with the chef to prepare something for me. The food was absolutely divine.

Very good food, better than excellent service and an absolute must if you visit Newcastle. We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks and the waiters remembered how we drink our coffee etc. We did not even need to explain, the drinks were always served as we want it. The manager Branson even take your plate at the buffet table and carry it to your table for you.
The food is delicious and very well presented.

It was a lovely evening, we decided to eat outside. The style of the complex is that of an Tuscan village, clay roof tiles arches and beautiful metal artwork. The food was awesome, great menu choices, pastas to steak, venison to seafood. Impressive wine selection and most of all it’s all ages friendly. Staff were accommodating and immaculately dressed. A gem in the town. Try them.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Boutique Hotel in February and was completely taken back with the decadence of the room and Hotel in general.
The staff were extremely professional and the stay a real treat.
The menu is amazing and food even better. Cant wait to get another opportunity to stay at this Hotel and re live the awesome experience.
