Had the lunchbuffet: tasteless, little choice, luke warm. Don't go there. The waintress was friendly though.

We were looking for some Indian food for dinner and managed to find this place. While there was no A/C on a very hot day, the place has a patio and indoor is quite spacious, so we managed to cool down. Service was fast and...friendly (server spoke English, which was helpful). We ordered some vegetable dishes (cauliflower/potato and eggplant). Both dishes were tasty, though more south Indian flavours than north Indian (which surprised us). Prices were reasonable in comparison to restaurants in the city Over all an okay place to go.More

The restaurant is big so you don't need to reserve for lunch. The staff is helpful and fast. I took a lunch buffet: variety but not wow.

It was my first time at Darshana. When I arrived, someone brought to the table I reserved. I waited almost 15 mins and nobody came to take my order. I thought maybe because I came early, but the whole evening was like that. We always...had to take their attention to be served. As it was my birthday and my friends ordered a cake for me, they brought the cake and I had to cut it myself and served my friends, no help from the staff. The food was ok but it's a bit expensive. What I appreciate was they gave me a bottle of red wine as a gift and they managed to arrange the table as my friends showed up more than I expected.More

Today was the first time I had revisited the Darshana in a number of years, precisely because I found that it was not even up to an "average" rating. A friend of mine suggested meeting there for lunch. I was rather skeptical but agreed to...go - fortunately! It was a very good surprise. The restaurant had been beautifully renovated and decorated in the meantime. The buffet, offering starters, main courses and desserts, was constantly replentished. The dishes were delicious, one of the best Indian meals I have had in Geneva in a long time. They also propose an à la carte menu. The staff was friendly and attentive. I shall surely return sometime soon.More

We were welcomed with a frown for not booking in advance. The restaurant remained empty during our entire lunch though. There was a buffet, nothing special. Quite mediocre food. Not going back.

Greasy, fatty, frozen. My worst cheese nan ever. Directly from the supermaket frozen section into my plate and poorly reheated. As far as the chicken tikka bis concerned, the Chef-if such position exists at Darshana- is a true neliever that spicy is tasty. Nope Chef,...just spicy. And greasy as a diesel engine. The buffet looks sad so do the dishes offered. At 21 francs, you just fell in the trap. The window sign says "open since 1976" you wonder how they survived that long with that food. Exception to this execrable fooding experience, the SERVICE. Convivial, attentive, of quality. Thank you waitresses team!More

Nothing amazing, but you can have all you can eat lunch for a reasonable price. As any other Indian in Geneva, dishes are tastless.
