Very pleasant server when we first arrived and sat down attentive and friendly. We were happy with our food first but I found a long hair in mine. it was in my mouth before i found it, not sure if it came with the dish or with the bread that was served with the dish.
I quietly called the server to tell him he shook his head and said something about the kitchen wear hair nets, he spoke to me in Italian so I presume that is what he was saying as he was pointing at his head and shaking it. His English seemed to have left him when he was describing to me that he didn't believe the hairin my dish. He took the dish away but never said if he was going to replace it or what he was going to do? After about 20 minutes we asked for the bill as there was no new dish coming for me. The dish was on the bill so we asked for it to be removed as we were not going to pay for a dish that I couldn't eat. I found them very very unprofessional. We were enjoying ourselves but couldn't stay for dessert or a drink after that because we felt extremely uncomfortable. It was unfortunate as it was our last night and we would have been quite happy to just stay and take a replacement meal as we were not out to cause a fuss

We stoped here for a drink and asked if it was happy hour as mentioned in the menu. Happy hour was not as we know it in the UK - the cocktails were full price, and delicious, but we also received a board of snacks which were very tasty! Decent prices anyway for the drinks but a very good price for drinks and yummy food!

We visited lovely Verona and whilst my wife was taking pictures I enjoyed a glass of wine.
The wine came with complimentary snacks and the wine was priced well from 4 Euros.
I had views of the market in front of me in Piazza Erbe.

Awefull service, bland and boring food with your mains brought out to you whilst you’re still eating your starter. Wine is not worth spending money on. This is only a quick drink spot when all the other spots are full on erbe piazza.

Ordered steak and potatoes. One medium and one medium/well. Both came out rare- and I mean rare. Over 1/3 of each steak was bones. The steaks themselves were very thin and came with approx 8 potato cubes (slightly larger than sugar cubes). (In fairness the potatoes did taste good.) Over half the plate was covered with a huge lettuce leaf with half a lemon on it. Why?
Poor food at rip off prices. Avoid.

After visiting (must see?) Juliet's balcony, we had a short walk to beautiful square called Piazza delle Erbe. Of course these places are made for tourists and prices are higher than few blocks away, but considering their perfect location near many of the most important sights in Verona, they weren't too overpriced. Wine was good and came with complimentary snacks

Terrible service, long waiting time, rude staff (without any reason whatsoever). I will never come back to this bar/caffè again. In Italy there are too many good bars/caffès with great staff and service... there's no reason to waist your time and money coming to this place.

Great location. Lots of shade in this ancient square right by the fantastic Palazzo Maffei museum House of art. I was greeted with a passion fruit and mint beverage as it was 36C in the shade. Great spaghetti vongole.

Caffè Anselmi has obviously a great view of the Piazza delle Erbe. However they serve the water-iest spritz I've ever had in my life. Not worth it

This is the first time in 30 years visiting Italy, we were refused to have a cocktail only because we had a 3year old child with us. I was stunned!!

Very good service. We went her twise. First for just a beer. Then for lunsj. Very good pasta. The place on a beautiful piazza is fantastic. Recomanded😃

A nice place for a drink.
They have an ample outside seating area, from where you can overlook the Piazza delle Erbe.
Prices are average for central Verona.
Service is okay.

Moderate food, excellent drinks, very fast and welcoming service.
Without the sun & terrace, i’d give it a solid 3. We came on a very busy day and still the waiting was quick!

Many, Many, restaurants to choose from in this square. I would definitely return to this one. The lasagna and the porcini mushroom dishes were excellent. The risotto was also good.
