We had the worst experience at this restaurant. From the beginning, the waiter was very rude to us. When we asked to make a formal written complaint the manager refused to give us the complaints book and told us to leave. This is inadmissible. We...left without an apology of any kind. This has been one of the worst experiences ever. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant as this is not know any manager should treat his clients.More

This beautiful restaurant offers very good service; a special outside dining experience; and a lovely menu. A friend and I had a late leisurely lunch (we were in Italy after all) at this special place. The wine menu was impressive as was the menu with...numerous "light" dishes. While there were just two of us, we watched a large table being served and a number of families dining that afternoon. We think this was a real "find" and would love to return for another long lunch!More

After the opera we went to have some diner. The service wasn't the best, it was slow, but the food was very good, and the wine selection too. It is less crowded than the restaurant s on Piazza Bra, however it is only 50 meters...from it.More

After a trip to the opera we came here for a late dinner. We received particularly slow service and noticed that the Italian speaking couples around us were getting their orders taken and food brought quickly whilst we were ignored for long periods of time....We were not sure whether it was because we two women or because we were tourists (we were dressed in smart formal evening wear so it wasn't our appearance). Our waiter was surly and pretended not to understand my Italian even though I could have conversations in Italian everywhere else and be understood. Food was completely average.More

The food is better quality and the atmosphere calmer than the restaurants on the square. Pleasant inside or outside.

This restaurant is part of the hotel Bologna just off Piazza Bra. It's pretty average. Part outdoor, part indoor. Not worth going out of your way for.

Despite the fact that the restaurant was quite empty after the pre opera rush the service was all a bit rushed and lacked any warmth. The food was excellent but the white wine was not really cool enough when it first arrived at the table....Overall a bit of a disappointment.More

Not sure when things went bad, but by the time we were done with the meal, we just wanted to leave as quickly as possible. The waiter was rude and barely paid any attention to us. We had to ask him several times for a...bottle of water ( it was 98 degrees outside and we were hot and thirsty). After the meals arrived we thought we ordered something at a cheap fast food restaurant. The "Caesar salad" was horrible and was more like a chef salad with everything in it they could find in the kitchen. My husband's "waiter recommended" pasta with shrimp, smelled so bad it was impossible to eat. It must have been sitting around for days. Then, I could not help but notice that the lady at a table next to us got into a small dispute with a writer alleging that he shortened her 5 Euros. The waiter brought the money quickly to keep her quiet. When it came to paying our bill, the waiter told us that his credit card machine is acting up and we had to pay in cash. I told him we didn't 't have any cash. In no time, after my decisive response, he appeared at our table with a perfectly working credit card machine. We paid the bill and hurried out of this substandard and crooked establishment.More

I ate there for Sunday lunch last week. I decided to splurge on a nice restaurant after eating In pizzerias most of the week. I had a fairly simple meal: melon and prosciutto and then a lovely ravioli stuffed with branzino in a butter/lemon sauce....It was really good, especially the pasta which was freshly made and perfectly cooked. The waiter was welcoming and recommended a local wine which I liked. I was alone and they took good care of me. Big local families filled the restaurant. Note that service is included in the price.More

Perfectly located , with a nice view :-) We tried a lot of different dishes , and everything was good . The service started out as not so good but after they had served the first wine it got much better . We then had...their attention and they took good care of us . Some really good wines in their menu, and the prize was ok . Nice place for a good dinner .More
