This restaurant is located perfectly in the shopping area but still has a cozy and elegant look. We have a daugter that needs glutenfree food, they did all they could to give her clean and good food at her request. It tasted excellent. We had starters with was meat and cheese from the area…it was a lot and tasted realy good. We had seafood - perfect!!! Drinks, food and coffee - smashing!!! The staff was soooo nice and made us relax and enjoy the stay.

Warm, relaxed atmosphere, excellent cuisine and an essential sense of humor

We dined three times in this restaurant, the first time because we found the menu interesting, the second because we found very good dishes and a friendly welcome and the third for these same reasons. The atmosphere is warm, the staff is attentive and strives to relax customers with their humor and jokes. This may seem a bit heavy for some but for us we appreciated the effort made to make the meal a moment of conviviality and relaxation. If you are looking for calm and privacy this is not a restaurant for you, but if you want to have a good time in a relaxed and warm atmosphere enjoying a good dish this is the ideal place. The next time we visit La Spezia we will not hesitate to return.

We just absolutely loved this place!! We were on a cruise that stopped in Spezia and given we had already visited Pisa before we were not looking to spend hours on a coach so decided to explore Spezia. It was a Sunday which meant a lot was closed but really we were looking to have a coffee, a nice walk about the city and port and then a leisurely lunch before returning to the ship. We stumbled across this place which had large teddies sitting on the seats, slightly intrigued we looked at the menu which seemed to have a lot of very fresh produce on it and not your typical “carbonara, pizza, pasta”. Everything is home made on site and the quality of the dishes was second to none. The two servers were utterly hilarious (one spent some time in Galway so my Irish husband was delighted). The prawn ravioli was outstanding and my daughter had the spaghetti which she said was the best she had ever had (traditionally made with veal, pork and beef). My husband also went for a dessert - the tiramisu - and it was light, well balanced and very subtle flavours - so gorgeous! The breads and the oil and balsamic were also great quality. Would highly recommend this place and the people running it just add to the overall experience! Wine was exceptional!

My wife and I walked away from this place after waiting over an hour for our food. We were seated outside with only 1 other table occupied. During that hour, other patrons walked up, gave their orders and were served their meals. We waited patiently and after an hour we asked where our order was. We were treated rudely. The owner admitted the kitchen made a mistake but there was no explanation or apology for their mistake. The owner was very rude and unprofessional and even suggested it was our fault for wanting quick service. Unbelievable!! There are better dining options in La Spezia. Stay away from this place!

Local in the center of La Spezia, in the pedestrian area; it has a heated outdoor and an internal part, long and narrow; tables very close, when I enter for dinner (the place was very crowded) I am proposed a tiny table, whatever... One of the waiters keeps complaining loudly that the customers all arrive at 8:00, whatever... In short, even before dinner begins the impression is not good. If there was the possibility to give 100 stars I would give it 200!!! A restaurant that excites the palate and the soul! The presentation of the dishes is taken care of down to the smallest detail, enhancing all tastes. We came on two consecutive nights and all the dishes were hilarious. You can never go wrong, everything is excellent! I literally fell in love with the whole team, from the chef who enchants you with his passion, to the guys in the dining room, friendly and professional. And then there's Elein, (I definitely spelled it wrong 😅), the captain of this fantastic ship, one of the sweetest and most genuine girls I've ever met. We went there following many positive comments and we are really disappointed! For a lobster risotto supposed to be "gastronomic" as indicated on the menu, we had ONE raw lobster and not always cooked rice... And the neon green mascarpone and pistachio dessert was very sickening. Products that do not seem to be worked on site, chain customers. We are very disappointed and pay almost 70€ for it hurts heart. We ate to begin with, the octopus with its fennel seed potato crush which was very tasty and surprising. Then the risotto with lobsters, the gnocchi with squid and the gnocchi with gorgonzola.
