Ah, Bologna! A city that serenades the senses with its rich gastronomic delights. Amidst the architectural marvels and bustling streets, stands an unassuming culinary haven – Pizzeria Due Torri. It's not just a pizzeria; it's a faithful companion that has rescued us time and time...again. Located strategically opposite Bologna's iconic landmark, the two towers or 'Due Torri,' this pizzeria has a charm that transcends its simple decor. What it lacks in grandeur, it compensates with the most generous, delicious, and affordable slices of pizza. Each visit to the city has led us to the welcoming embrace of Due Torri. Whether it was a late return from the magical Piazza Maggiore or an exit from an enrapturing theatre performance, this pizzeria's glowing lights have beckoned us like a beacon in the night. Their pizzas, priced modestly between 1.5 and 2 euros, are nothing short of a feast. With a pleasingly chewy crust and a rich, flavourful topping, each substantial slice is a culinary masterpiece that satisfies the deepest hunger pangs. The allure of Pizzeria Due Torri isn't merely in the taste, though that's exceptional; it's in the essence of the place. Its convenient location and late-night service are an absolute asset, especially for the wandering soul or the music lover spilling out from a late concert. Eating pizza at midnight might indeed be frowned upon by the health-conscious, but in Bologna, such concerns seem trivial. The city invites indulgence, and what better way to indulge than with a sumptuous slice of Due Torri's pizza, under the watchful eyes of the city's beloved towers? Of course, Bologna is not a place to embark on a weight loss journey; it's a place to embrace life, in all its flavours and textures. Pizzeria Due Torri epitomizes this ethos, offering not just sustenance but a joyful experience, perfectly aligned with the spirit of Bologna. For us, it's more than a dining spot; it's a cherished memory, a tradition, a delightful end to a perfect Bolognese night. If you ever find yourself wandering the enchanting streets of Bologna, do not miss this gem, especially as the city winds down, and the night comes alive.More

Every time we’re in Bologna, Due Torri Pizzeria is our go to pizza place. It is very reasonably priced €1.50 for a slice (keep in mind these are giant slices) and a selection of fairly priced beverage. The pizzeria operates a counter set up, so...there are no seats inside but there are on pavement seating options available giving you a stunning angle of the two towers as the traffic passes. It is very central and only a 3 minute walk from the main square and Neptune’s Fountain. Whilst the seats outside give fantastic views they are somewhat limited in their number but is perfectly fine for a lunch stop. Furthermore the staff are very friendly and are able to communicate well in English in addition to Italian. The pizza is excellent and has firmly secured itself as our go to place in Bologna. Overall it is a beautiful lunch stop with great pizza and friendly service.More

Unreal! Best pizza I’ve had in Italy so far! €2 for one slice and I’d have paid double! I’d love to visit again! Couldn’t recommend highly enough

Not really a restaurant but rather a “quick bite”, as it doesn’t have waiters or even toilets for clients, but the pizza is one of the best I’ve ever had!

The napoletan owner of the place is very rude. I was there many times and the owner is always very unfriendly. But the pizza is excellent.

This is my favorite pizza slice place. Every time I go to Bologna I visit this place. Very cheap, you get a big slice for 2 euros and always very delicious.

Passed by and saw a big que which is usually a good sign. There is a reasonably good sized list of pizzas, all at a good price, considering its all fresh and the location. I had the pepperoni and was not disappointed. Not the best...pizza ive ever had but it was very good, light and tasty. Probably a good place to pick up a snack whilst passing by.More

We bought one slice of Salami and one of Prosciutto e Funghi; I don’t remember the prices, but they weren’t too pricey. They were nice and very convenient to eat on the go. However, the lady serving wasn’t very polite which was a bit of...a bummer.More

I have taste better pizza in other places not only in Bologna but also in other countries. The most disappointing part was when we realize that they charge tourists more than locals for the same piece of pizza.

The pizza is ok, not exceptional. We wanted to buy a full pizza but they only sold slices even if it was in the menu. The girl working there should change of work or start being nice with the clients.

Bologna can be pricy but you can eat well for little outlay too. The pizza was very tasty. 3 large slices to take away for lunch. 5.50 Euro.

I had two huge slices of pepperoni and they were fantastic. This is the type of place my late friend, Tony Bourdain would have loved. Great pizza, period!
