This is a small restaurant that serves traditional Italian dishes. The food is fresh, authentic and delicious. Service was excellent with some extras provided ‘on the house’ by the proprietor. The meloncello digestif was particularly delicious. If you are not offered it, ask for it...More

Lovely meals. We went twice during our week in Rome. Meal was superb, and wine great. Very reasonable. The patron is a character and was a Roman version of Jim Royle but in the best possible sense. Would recommend highly. Had the signature dish and...More

The food (Pasta) was pretty good, but the hygeine was terrible. The fact that our waiter sneezed before taking our food is why I am giving as low a score as I am.

Typical "Trattoria romana" wih good food at cheap price. Recomended: Tonnarelli cacio e pepe, and, as appetizer, carciofo alla Romana.

Went there two times during our stay in Rome. Spaghetti alla carbonara is to die for. On our second occasion, we had Spaghetti alla bolognese and saltimbocca alla romana--also delicious, but didn't beat the carbonara.

Nice very small restaurant with the homemade food, pleasant atmosphere and quick service. I would come again to have my meal in that restaurant

Nice restaurant to visit if you are stopping locally. Would have liked to have wine by the carafe which didn't seem to be on offer. Food nice, good service and reasonable value.

The carbonara was exceptional... Frequenting Italy (especially Rome) over the last decade I feel I have enough experience to make this statement... It's a lovely family run restaurant and the care they showed us on arrival transpired into the food... People from the local area...More

We had our best bruschetta and pasta here on our 10 day trip in Italy. Very genuine Italian atmosphere as this is a local Restaurang outside the tourist area. The price level is low for what you get so if you are around and want...More

Description
Cacio & Peppe offers a choice of spaghetti in all ways, including the great classics of Roman cuisine. Large portions and rich seasoning and are accompanied by a wide selection of craft beers (non-pasteurized and usually, but not always, unfiltered). Rich choice of bruschetta. We use only fresh and not frozen.
