Delicious food fed to you by a lady who acts like she could be your long lost Italian grandma. Authentic. Low prices.

This restaurant has been here 50 years. Interior filled with pictures, photos of friends and family collected over the years. Andreina, the current proprietor and niece of original owner Sireno, is everything you expect in an Italian mother cooking for you. Food is tasty and...More

We went for lunch based on a raccomandation. There is nothing special about this little restaurant. The pasta portions were big, but not great. The meat not the best cut. Signora Andreina does it all, she is funny, but if you pressure her, she won't...More

You have to come here to experience the real italian cuisine made by Andreina the owner. It is a real familly atmosphere with local food. There are just a few restaurants like this one left in Rome don't miss it.

We went there before our visit to Maxxi musuem. The food is honest local roman cuisine. Most of the customers are locals and regulars. Everyone was friendly to us including nearby customers. The place is run down but it is part of the charm.
