I was on my way to catch my hotel shuttle and I wanted to have a quick dinner. Fermento is located on a very accessible street, close to the Vatican. Customers were in majority local Italian and I really loved the place! This is a...More

After 5 times visiting Rome for business purposes and have already eaten in many different (promoted!) ones, together with a colleague we "came across" by luck one of the best eateries in the eternal city! Super good! Really worth trying...

Proves you can get very ordinary pasta in Rome. Fine if you are looking for something cheap and cheerful. Staff are casual. Food ordinary, but okay if you just need to eat something.

Had some pasta for lunch - it was great and not too expensive. Nice experience in general, was much more like "real" restaurant when compared to typical tourist spots. A bit slow service but really had no hurry at that time.

Perhaps because we were some of the first customers in the evening, the kitchen did not seem to perform at its best. The best portion of our dinner was the antipasto, a heaping plate of various prosciuttos that we combined with a great portion of...More

Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is
the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in
a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is
a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and
wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every
shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and
gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but
that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,
