Stumbled upon this place down a side street and did not disappoint. The owner is friendly and informative and gave us a choice of red or white for 5/8/12 €. He then asked what type of wine you liked and found one to match. Excellent...More

Perfect place for a glass of wine. Perfec host. Smallest wine bar but just Loverly. This man knows his wine. An expert and a real pleasure to get to know. If you want a glass without the fuss of food. Try it

While this place served liquor and beer, wine is definitely the reason people stop in here. Sergio was very helpful in suggesting 3 different wines for each of us and they were all $8 euros a glass, which was very reasonable. They have a space...More

Went here for a few drinks yesterday. The atmosphere is lovely, the owner friendly. However, we both had an Aperol Spritz and it was €11 per glass! Which is more than double what one usually pays. Prices are not displayed too well, so be prepared...More

Great spot to relax at the end of the day, try different wines and ask questions - Sergei is very knowledgeable. Timing can be an issue as it's a one man operation. It was closed the entire time we were there until our last night...More

I've been here several times and it's usually my first stop when in Rome. Quite simply amazing. Yes it's surrounded by tourist traps but this isn't one. Pasta is amazing. Service is genuine. Always packed. Food is authentic and very well priced. I've been here...More

Rome is so filled with little back-alley and out-of-the-way places, but this one really is worth a visit. Sergei is a sommelier, but I'm not sure he would tell you if you didn't ask, or recognize the cup and certificate on the wall. Plus he...More

Now like so many people, we stumbled across Cesaretto by chance and following a meal nearby. We only wished we had found this place previously as we were due to fly home the next day. Look, some people have commented on the price, but let's...More

Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields
to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most
desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best
place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and
Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with
enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s
best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a
fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to
