My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant which was conveniently close to our hotel during our visit to Rome last week. As a starter we divided a dish of different types of ham and salami. Then I had oven-baked veal while my wife...More

Visited this restaurant on recommendation of family. The food and service were excellent. Very friendly staff. The restaurant gets busy so probably best to book. Recommend at least one visit when in Rome.

We went here on our second night in Rome. The service was impeccable, and the food to die for. I had a pasta amatriciana which was melt-in-the-mouth, and for dessert the best tartuffo I've ever had.

With a couple of friends, we stayed in a hotel which, although included in the price, did not provide breakfast on the premises. Our breakfast destination was only about 150 metres from the hotel so this did not prove to be too inconvenient (it didn’t...More

During our holiday we celebrated an anniversary and decided that this restaurant sounded special enough to go to. We'd walked past it in our way back one day and though it was closed for its afternoon break my husband and I both thought it looked...More

Undecided on where to eat we followed our noses. Eventually we stopped outside Giglio, by the opera house. and the menu appealed. In we went. It was like entering a restaurant from maybe 40 years ago, but in a very nice and quaint way. Full...More

I did not enjoy this dining experience. The food was greasy and they served stale bread. Not very clean Resturant.

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
