The gelato is absolutely amazing. Piccolo size gives you two large scoops and additional toppings like cookies or chocolate if you want. It all comes in a delicious waffle or regular cone. We got gelato here several times because it was better (and cheaper!) than...all the other ones we found in Rome. It is very authentic, they do not have many flavors and change some of them every day. GO HERE!More

It’s a funny old world. There we were newly arrived in Rome, surrounded by living signs of ancient history that gave us so much today. Even Monty Python posed on what have the Romans ever done for us - all right, but apart from the...sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us? Brought peace? So luggage deposited our friends got a reply text from their daughter in Scotland essentially ya gotta get to this place as it’s the best ice cream ever and they coat the ice cream in choccy. Dutiful doting parents did as instructed. Enter google (I guess) and location found I think he said pinned, so off we went past the tomb of the unknown solider - Tomba del Milite Ignoto - past the statue of the goddess Roma, the Basilica Ulpia, Trajan’s Column, Basilica Papale di Santa Marie just to name a few for ice cream. Yeesh. So the ice cream was very good indeed and fairly priced but the servings weren’t over generous. There are no seats and you literally stand in a small space for service. I always have a cone never a tub. I mean a tub? I can’t eat a tub. A tub usually brings a plastic spoon and our planet could forgo more plastic. The chocolate coating was thin and slowed melting and was tasty. It wasn’t the best ice cream ever. But we did eat our weight in ice cream when we were in Rome. Now where did we put those ancient monuments?More

Excellent gelato, stracciatella was on point. I sauntered upon the shop about 20 minutes before the actual opening time and saw that they were open for business. I was able to walk right in and didn't have to wait in line or anything. I know...this is a pretty popular spot, so I felt pretty lucky that I was able to get my fix without much of a crowd. I got the coconut which was pretty good and the stracciatella which was...definitely the better of the two. The price at 2.50 euro was outstanding.More

We wondered what the massive queue in the street was for and found it to be this ice cream parlour….. so , of course, we had to try it. Having read the other reviews I don’t seem to agree with them… The staff were certainly...not rude to us, as friendly as could be expected given how busy they are, so no problem there. The gelato itself is very good indeed, but so were the ones we bought the next day, further down the road, from a shop with no queues. I guess to find your personal favourite, you will have try them all :-)More

Gorgeous gelato! My favourite in the whole of Roma! Also a great price and she guided me on how many flavours I could choose. See the photos of mine - it was only €3.50

The best gelato in Rome hands-down. There’s a reason that this place has a line out of the door at 10pm. My wife and I tried many gelato places whilst we were in Rome, but we found ourselves coming back here time and time again....The gelato is super creamy and rich. The colours of certain flavours are the colour that you expect them to be, as are the flavours, so you know that it’s all natural, and the price was insanely cheap for the popularity. I think the most we paid was €6 for 1 X 3 scoop cone and 1 X 2 scoop cone, which made it cheaper than others places in the area that weren’t nearly as good as this.More

Found this gem almost by accident. Outstanding Gelato and well worth the wait. We went back a couple of times. Love gelato and in 2.5 weeks of travelling Italy this was the best we found.

Went to visit today as we had been recommended by friends. Lots of choice but had to make a decision quickly and when I pointed to the 1st cream lady snapped and said Ma’am you need to say the names. I asked my partner to...order for me. Felt uncomfortable and it has spoilt my day.More

We went to this Gelateria after our first lunch in Rome which turned out to be tucked in one of the beautiful narrow streets in the eternal city. A tiny shop with enthusiastic young employees serving good Italian Gelato. Due to its fame on social...media there was a queue of tourists outside the shop. I can't say that the Ice Cream is the best in Rome but it was definitely tasty especially in those hot days back in July.More

This gelato was 15/10. Long queue but so worth the wait, looks to be a family run business and the owner clearly cares a lot about what he sells, they make some fabulous recommendations and you can try before you buy. Is the best gelato...in Rome without a doubt.More

Amazing gelato shop, worth the tiktok fame. The coconut and banana gelatos were both divine. Love that you can have the ice cream dipped in chocolate too, lovely unique touch.

The best Gelato possibly in the world. We went to a different gelato shop with great reviews but it had closed early. So we ended up here instead and were very happy we did. A good choice of flavours, size options and great value. To...top it off all gelato comes with whipped cream or dipped in melted chocolate. Highly recommend the amaretto flavourMore
