The gelato is delicious! It’s completely worth it to wait in line, even more so because the service is really fast and you don’t have to wait long. We also thought that the medium size is very well served, compared to other gelatos that we...had!More

Easily one of the best Gelateria. The gelato is really nice. The prices are average and despite the long queue the service is fast.

Best ice cream in Rome. I visited several ice cream shops but this one was my favourite. I took 2 scoops in a cone which consisted of frigidarium flavour and other with pistachio. After I was asked if I wanted it to be dipped in...white chocolate or brown chocolat, which I chose white. Upon dipping chocolate will solidify around the ice cream. It was very good and the staff was very helpful and friendlyMore

Yet another unplanned stop that turned out good beyond imagination. We were walking by after lunch and noticed the long queue next door for the pizza place, then this gelato store caught our eye. At first glance, the selection seems rather standard but we are...glad we gave it a try. Lovely gelato, remember to get the chocolate coating on top!More

We had to wait in a queue for 15 minutes and the selection isn't as large as at some other places, but it seems high quality and probably the best gelato we had in central Rome over 5 days.

Decent prices and REALLY good gelato, they make it themselves and we all loved it so so much. it’s honestly the best gelato we had in Rome and we went to at least 4 gelatterias.

One of the best gelato I've had ! I tried bacio and pistachio. It's definitely worth stopping by during your trip. There's sometimes a line but it's worth the wait. Highly recommend!

Good gelato spot. I liked the option of chocolate or cream with each flavor. This was probably my number 2 favorite on our entire trip.

During our last spring trip, we thought we already found the best pistachio elsewhere but we were wrong! At Frigidarium, it was by far the best pistachio gelato we’ve ever had! It was perfect for my taste: not too sweet, not too creamy, very strong...fragrant of pistachios. We tried some sorbets which are all very good, real natural ingredients are used here! Deserves 10/10 stars. No wonder why the queue was long. A must try when in Rome!More

Very good gelato, just off Piazza Navona. Very popular, so expect long queues (even in November), but well worth the wait.

The best gelato in Rome. During my time in Rome, I ate a lot of gelato but this is by a thousand miles, the best one. There was long queue but that is totally understandable. This gelato is extraordinary and incredibly good. Especially if you...get it covered in chocolate. If you are in Rome, this is a must visit gelato shop. If you don’t give it a try, you will 100% regret it for the rest of your whole damn life.More

The gelato is absolutely amazing. Piccolo size gives you two large scoops and additional toppings like cookies or chocolate if you want. It all comes in a delicious waffle or regular cone. We got gelato here several times because it was better (and cheaper!) than...all the other ones we found in Rome. It is very authentic, they do not have many flavors and change some of them every day. GO HERE!More

It’s a funny old world. There we were newly arrived in Rome, surrounded by living signs of ancient history that gave us so much today. Even Monty Python posed on what have the Romans ever done for us - all right, but apart from the...sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us? Brought peace? So luggage deposited our friends got a reply text from their daughter in Scotland essentially ya gotta get to this place as it’s the best ice cream ever and they coat the ice cream in choccy. Dutiful doting parents did as instructed. Enter google (I guess) and location found I think he said pinned, so off we went past the tomb of the unknown solider - Tomba del Milite Ignoto - past the statue of the goddess Roma, the Basilica Ulpia, Trajan’s Column, Basilica Papale di Santa Marie just to name a few for ice cream. Yeesh. So the ice cream was very good indeed and fairly priced but the servings weren’t over generous. There are no seats and you literally stand in a small space for service. I always have a cone never a tub. I mean a tub? I can’t eat a tub. A tub usually brings a plastic spoon and our planet could forgo more plastic. The chocolate coating was thin and slowed melting and was tasty. It wasn’t the best ice cream ever. But we did eat our weight in ice cream when we were in Rome. Now where did we put those ancient monuments?More
