Giolitti is famous for gelato and while I am not sure it deserves the title of 'best in Rome', it indeed makes very nice ones! The only issue here is the line or rather, the fact that you have to queue twice, once for the...More

Giolitti is by far the best Gelateria in the WHOLE WORLD. You cannot try flavors before buying, which I was disappointed about, but I am convinced there are zero bad flavors. Just get what looks good and you will be in love. I personally got...More

I got an advice from a friend to visit this place when I am in Rome, and I didn´t regret it! This was for me the best place for having ice cream in Rome. I can recommend the combination blueberry/hazelnut/pistachio. But anyways, you can also...More

This really is the best gelato in Rome. There’s so many flavours to choose from and they’re all good quality. It’s definitely worth lining up for.

Simply the best ice cream in the world, not just Italy. Very popular, so be prepared to work your way to the two queues, one to pay and one to get your delicious ice cream. Well worth going more than once. Any excuse is good...More

The list of buns etc was endless as were their coffee. The tiramisu here was gorgeous with just the right amount of tia Maria. The lemon buns were fabulous. Just above the pantheon the stream of tourists was continuous but not invasive. Toilets spotless.

The place where we have tried best italian gelato, as homemade, without chemistry taste, not expensive, big portion (although called small).
