Had lunch at this small well run café. Good choices on menu and reasonable prices. The salmon salad was as listed and arrived and tasted fresh and delicious and the dressing on the side added additional flavour. The long black coffee was smooth and creamy...and for me it was the Best coffee in Madrid. Well done ladies. Highly recommendMore
Such a lovely little café in Alonso Martinez. Cutely decorated. Even if small, the menu offers a number of different choices, from homemade breakfasts, healthy bites, natural juices and much more. Nice service.
We were fortunate to have this little brunch gem a stones throw from our hotel. We rarely eat breakfast at the hotels where we stay as we truly enjoy a good brunch experience. They serve great coffee and have a delicious avocado and poached egg...menu option that comes with yogurt, coffee and orange juice.
We hit this place twice during our stay in Madrid.
We did prefer HanSo Cafe (15 min walk from our hotel), but truly enjoyed our experience at Cripeka.More
Found this bar as my brother and i were pub and bar hopping around the always exciting Chueca neighbourhood and what a great find.
This is a cool low lit cozy bar, great decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating...options spread throughout bar,it really is one fantastic bar and a bar I am so glad we found.
We were here on a Friday night and this bar was busy with a great atmosphere, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff who took our order of a couple of vermouths and these were served in tip top condition, we just kicked back and chilled out and took in the great bar we were in.
The vermouth was really tasty, I really enjoy this drink,it makes for a nice change from the more lager style beers we had been drinking earlier on in the day, it was really refreshing.
The atmosphere in here was superb, it attracts a more younger crowd which makes for an exciting visit.
We really enjoyed our vermouths in here and the great atmosphere so much so that we ended up staying for another vermouth each before we moved on and for a first time visit we were very impressed with this great bar.
Cripeka is really easy to locate, we jumped the metro down to stop Alonso Martinez were we walked down Plaza De Santa Barbara and cut onto Calle De Santa Teresa were you will find this bar in the Chueca neighbourhood which is an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants.
A great bar and well worth checking out.More
I always visit this cafe when Im in Madrid, it has a lovely vibe, great vintage chilled music, freshly made breakfasts and lunches. They do take away but then you'd be missing out on the best bit! The staff are friendly and helpful if you...can't speak Spanish and will mix up the menu for you if you want something slightly different. A great place to start your day. You can even charge your phone while you eatMore
We went here on a rainy Sunday morning. Everything was closed, but Cripeka opened their doors at 10.00.
And what a pleasure it was. Great food,
great prices, friendly staff. The Salmon on toast is a recommendation, as like many other dishes on the menu....It is absolutely a great suggestion to go to this place.More
