The food was normal, tasteless... we ordered a Paella and we ended disappointed. The staff was friendly. Not recommended

This was the best of a series of excellent meals which my wife, our adult son and I enjoyed during a 3-night stay in Santiago. The "Mariscada" seafood platter (€19.50 per head) was outstanding. Our total bill, including several other seafood dishes, a bottle of...wine, three desserts and coffee was €133.90.More

Amazing food, great people and the best sangria we've had in Santiago (and trust me, we had A LOT) We've been here few times and always enjoyed everything. Paella is amazing, great squid, wonderful calamar, everything fresh. Family-like atmosphere and we were always greeted with...such warm welcome! Highly recommend, even if just for sangria!More

We decided that we needed a light meal after stopping at a parador for lunch. The name gave us pause, but don't let that stop you. We feasted on percebes, navajes and cigales. The waiter recommended a great six wine blend from Ribiero. We chatted...with two Nedelanses Who had just comp!eyed The Camino to Santiago De Compostela. The waiter, who was in his mid 30s said that he had served Martin Sheen as he was completing the movie "The Way" . We asked really and he produced a photo from his phone. We had a great evening and a wonderful meal.More

El Rapido is a fish and seafood restaurant in the Santiago de Compostela Old Town. They serve a rich variety of foods and several mixed plates for two persons. Plate prices start from about 40 euros to more expensive ones. Food is good and service...works relatively well. The overall cost (including wines ) for two persons is about 60 euros which is a bit high compared with surrounding restaurants.More

We visited the restaurant on our first night in Santiago de Compostela and had a fabulous Lobster Paella, Razor Clams and Garlic Prawns. With a bottle of Vino Rosado and a large beer the bill was just over 60 Euros. The service was first class...and the food was served quickly but we were not rushed at any time. Nice touch was a free Crean Liquor after the meal. We were so impressed that we returned the following evening as it was our daughters “special” birthday. Again the food was excellent and the service first class. They even decorated a small birthday cake we had bought for our daughter.More

We had dinner here after Finishing our Camino and reached Santiago. We had a great time with the seafood platter recommended by their waiter. It had a great selection and everything tasted good. The house wine was also fabulous. We enjoyed every bit of our...dinner and we will definitely be back here when in Santiago. This is a restaurant that I can recommend for anyone visiting Santiago.More
