We just wanted to try Udon menus. there were 2 people were waiting before us , but no one come to asking , ‘how many people, or how long waiting or so no .’ Thus , we asked can we get a table or no..., and waiting time . But a waitress couldn’t understand simple English. What a place!!! While waiting , 5-8 minutes , my coat and hair was smelled of oil. Someone is mentioning that this restaurant needs an extra duct for a ventilation. I also saw that udon noodles were floating in the big pan for a while, could be overcooked . We’ve just left without eat.More

A true pleasure to discover this little tiny corner of Japan in Gracia. The place is very simple but the udon are hand made and really tasty. Curry ones are my pick. Enjoy it

Here you eat: udon! Fresh home made delicious udon. 4 base with toppings, some starters and 4 different don (rice with something). All really good, very nice discovery

This is a small udon shop that provided us a great break from tapas. The noodles were tasty and the combination specials, a good value. The curry udon combination with gyoza or karaage chicken and a beer or small cava was a deal at 16...euros. While run by a Japanese couple, the udon was not quite as good as you may find in Kyoto’s Omen udon group but is wonderfully authentic.More

I went here with my boyfriend and we forgot that most restaurants would open at 20:00. We were there at 18:00 so we had to wait but it was well worth it. He had the Yaki Udon with beef, I had the Gyudon with egg...and we both shared the Gyoza and Edamame. The udon and the gyudon were amazing! Great Japanese comfort food and we definitely recommend trying these dishes. The gyoza and edamama were ok, nothing too special. Overall worth trying if you're in Barcelona!More

In the top of P. De Gracia Yoi Yoi Gion offers average good oden, ramen and mochis. The local is white, wide and airy. The staff is too slow. The menu is wide. Good but a bit expensive. A main course, a glass of wine...and a mochi to share...20 eur. Go and decide but focused on this range of restaurant for this price you can enjoy also a good japanese meal for 12 or 15.-eur.More

Udons are very good and you can “personalize” them with many combinations. Gyoza are just bad. It was all fun until around 23 (not late in Spain) they decided to keep the door of the restaurant open. In winter. To force us to leave? I...wanted a coffee to finish the dinner I didn’t order just because I was too cold and we, alongside the other tables, finally left because of it. Horrible experience. I can’t recommend it.More

A Japanese restaurant specialising in ramen and donburi. We had the lunch menu which was tasty but not particularly exciting. I think it’s an okay place for lunch but perhaps I would not choose it for an evening meal. Service is quite slow to be...honest and not overly friendly. The decor is rather spartan and could do with a little more thought. Overall I think I would give it another try as I only had the set lunch menu and I'm curious to try the other options available.More

OMG, this place is great. So their menu is very simple, their specialty is UDON, which the owner makes themselves. They also have some DON dishes, but take my word, please have any if their UDON dishes and one won't be disappointed. I'm going back...there next time I'm in town for sure.More

Loved the udon — the real stuff just as they make it in quality udon places in Japan. The udon+tempura is great, you get a bowl of udon with a dish full of tempura vegetables and shrimp (at €17, which is not cheap). Edamame is...a good starter. Japanese tea is served in a cute little teapot. I rate the food 5/5. However, there are two downsides: (1) The place itself is noisy: one big hall with a loud air vent and bare floors, ceilings and walls reflecting all noises and voices. Would be much improved with some curtains, isolation on ceiling, or Japanese-style rice paper room dividers. (2) The price is pretty steep for something that in Japan is basically a quick bite of wholesome basic food. This may have to do with the location, which is just around the corner from Passeig Gracia and La Pedrera and so must be a pretty expensive spot. I would expect this kind of place a bit more off the beaten path and 20%-40% cheaper.More

I went to try cold udon (hiya udon). The udon is very well prepared, only place in Barcelona I had ever eaten that udon was no over cooked. It is only a pity that they don’t have Zaru Udon. But they have curry udon which...is also very good. Besides excellent udon, they also have very good gyoza. The restaurant is very roomy and give you the feeling of eating in Japan.More

I went there with a couple of friends. That was their first time eating udon. It was not my first time but previous experiences were not that good. And I must say I really liked my udon (I had the standard one, with an egg...and fresh sea weeds). I also tried the curry udon that one of my friends ordered and liked it a lot too. I'll definitely go back to try the rest of the menu. The only negative points are the noise and the smell in the dinning room. Make sure you can take a shower as soon as you leave the place...More

My partner and I are big fans of Japanese food, especially noodle dishes. The texture of the Udon was perfect, and the taste as well. And don't forget about the takoyaki, one of the best I have had. Definitely worth visiting.
