Tiny little bar with just two tables outside, but a whizz of a chef. We stopped for lunch and were greeted by a friendly waiter eager to explain the selection of daily specials. We chose two of these and two other dishes from the main menu. They weren’t strictly tapas but more large starter size, perfect for sharing. The burrito with pumpkin purée, anchovies and pistachio was the best, but we also enjoyed a salad of huge tomatoes with a balsamic glaze and tuna loin. The local sausage was brought to the table on skewers and flame grilled in front of us. Pudding was a spectacular creation of a “false apple” made of caramel mousse encasing a chocolate ganache and covered in a red fruit glaze. All made on site - I’m going back tomorrow for the “orange”!

Super little restaurant in the heart of Seville. A small place with limited seating downstairs, however this simply plays into Abaceria's charm. Prior to ordering, the waitstaff enjoy explaining the dishes which are small, albeit performed portions and very reasonably priced. The duck with mango sauce and tuna tartare were simply exceptional and looked like Michelin-esque dishes. If you want to visit, make sure you BOOK in advance otherwise you may be waiting a while for a table!

We arrived just at opening at 12:30 which was a great strategy as the tiny restaurant was packed within minutes. The English menu was really appreciated and warm service was provided by Yeray. The menu is wide, but we were guided by Yeray’s recommendations and shared burrata and pumpkin, cheese, pear and honey, blowtorched duck, pickled fish and fresh tomatoes, pulled pork sandwich and tuna tartare. Everything was exceptional, but my favourite was the tuna tartare. Unfortunately there was no dessert today, but despite that it was an absolute standout meal - one of our best in Spain. With drinks the bill came to €76 which was very good value for the quantity and quality of food presented

Told waitress I did not need the bread and tossed it aggressively in the trash and yelled at me and my wife for not accepting the bread they charge 2 euros for. Owner then told us it was late which is why she was being so rude. Bottom line, if it is late, close the restaurant. That is no way to treat a patron. There are hundreds of great restaurants in Seville, so do yourself a favor and take tour business else where, they were very rude and condescending which is quite the surprise for such a small place with no kitchen and rude staff. We paid for our 2 glasses of wine and left. Thankfully we had a great meal and service just down the street.

Muchas gracias.

Few friends and I went to eat to this restaurant and we can't recommend it highly enough! The service received from Gran Canarian Yeray was 5* ! We had burrata, duck breast, provolone with chicharrones and slices of slow roasted beef with mojo sauce . The wine choices was great and the atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly. You can see that this restaurant is passionate about good quality ingredients cooked in a modern quirky way, so welldone! We can't wait to go back in our next visit to Seville

We stumbled across this little restaurant on our recent trip to Seville. Luckily we found it on our first day and we were blown away by the food, the atmosphere and the people who worked there. Everything about it was just perfect. They do the most unusual tapas combinations which are so worth a try. We decided to come back on the second day to try more and we were not disappointed at all. There was no question about where we were having lunch on our last day.. we could not miss the final opportunity to be wowed. Some of their perfect options are Duck breast with Mango Salsa, Tuna Tartar with Avocado, Small sweet red peppers filled with cream cheese and sultanas on a bed of green apple, Taleggio Cheese with pear, honey and pistachios .. just to name a few.. but the pièce de résistance was the egg shaped panna cotta filled with mango and covered in white chocolate.. it was on a bed of chocolate soil.. amazing. I would so recommend you find this place early on in your visit so you can return over and over again.. my only regret is that we live a 6 hour drive from here.

This is a hidden gem (not even really hidden as it's more or less opposite the Cathedral). Delicious and inventive tapas (the False Nest dessert is Michelin quality for under 6 euros) and a great selection of wines and sherry (including dry which we always like). A good variety of tasty vegetarian options. The outdoor tables are few and justly coveted with stunning views of the Cathedral by day and night, and the chance to soak up Sevilla's atmosphere on a lively street. Excellent service. Yeray was our waiter on both visits and he is super friendly and speaks a multitude of languages. Book an outdoor table in advance and go enjoy a tasty meal with great ambience.

@abaceriadelpostigo , which we discovered in the city center of Seville, satisfied us on both visits. Every Tapas were more delicious than others. However, if I were to recommend two tapas, which are very high level, I would say don't leave without eating Caballa Ahumada Con Pisto (€3.9) and Carné Mechada Con Salsa de Mojo Picón (€2.8). Likewise, we refused the Tuna Tataki recommendation, but the plate we watched while it was being prepared looked pretty good. In the glass wine recommendations, the service staff came up with very good suggestions. After these delicious meals, we ended our party with two beautiful Sherrys, such as @bodegaslustau Manzanilla Papirusa (€2,8) and Palo Cortado Peninsula (€3,8), which we saw at the bar. This place is "beautiful and elegant", like the Argentinian meaning of Papirusa we tried.

We ate here on our first night in Seville, sitting outside, with beautiful view towards the Catedral, which was lit up. We had tapas, and it was just delicious - can particularly recommend the duck and the tuna tartare! The service was also excellent with a lovely waiter. Great sangria too.

We had a fantastic culinary experience, and we highly recommend this lovely tapas place. The atmosphere felt very authetic, Yeray, our waiter, was extremely pleasant and ensured we had a great experience, helping us select the right choice of food. The food itself was simply incredible. We would definitely recommend the specials, especially the tuna belly - it was so good we ordered it twice!

Given all the positive reviews, we really were expecting something quite special at this place. However, whilst the ambience is nice, we found the tapas quite bland, the Ibérico ham poor, and the service ridiculously slow. We actually waited over 30mins for a few simple tapas (which were definitely not worth waiting for).

Even with all of the delicious restaurants in Sevilla, we had to pay 2 visits to Abaceria Del Postigo for Yeray's charming service and top-rate tapas. The duck and tuna tartare specials were amazing as were the 3 euro wine selections and traditional tapas. Our waiter Yeray had the best recommendations and a great sense of humor to make us feel welcome! Located near the beautiful cathedral, but away from the crowds, Abaceria Del Postigo is a can't miss for tapas in Sevilla.

We spent a wonderful moment at la Abaceria del Postigo. The tapas were excellent and we were well advised by Yeray. He made us a special cheese plate so that we can taste several specialties. We will definitively comme back! Thank you and especially to Yeray

Highly recommended! Delicious food served by the friendliest staff. They prepared our tuna as we watched, and the burrata with pumpkin and pistachio was fantastic. Even the little dish of ratatouille with quails egg was a delight. Reasonably priced with generous portions, we could have eaten everything on the menu. Thanks to Jerai (not sure that’s how to spell it!) for holding our table and looking after us so well.

This is a small popular locals tapas bar restaurant for those who appreciate authentic fresh local food. Our server Yeray explained each dish in detail so we knew exactly what we would get. We were not disappointed. We enjoyed fresh and extremely tasty food plus excellent service.
