We sought out this place based on reviews and on proximity to our hotel. When we arrived (without a reservation) they hadn't an outside table so we sat indoors but while we were having our initial drinks, our waiter came and told us an outside...More

This is a little depressing - several places have tables outside in the same piazza. We sat down, bought a beer, and realised we’d sat at the wrong table but - all ok! - it was the table of the restaurant where we had a...More

We visited this taberna based on the high number of good reviews, and the place we really enjoyed last time had unfortunately closed. The outside tables were full so we decided to sit inside and around the corner. We ordered our tapas which consisted of...More

We had the fried aubergines, the homemade croquettes, the patatas bravas and the hamburger. All dishes were delicious and Curro, our waiter, was very polite.

Food was excellent and the service was very attentive. We took our waiter’s recommendations and had one of the best meals of our trip for a very reasonable price. The cod dish with the sauce was amazing. We also enjoyed the grilled zucchini, stuffed pork...More

This wonderful restaurant is right in the city centre and serves food all day long. Perfect for any non-spanish visitors! Many restaurants in Cordoba serves food only at lunch and dinner hours which is rather late for us. Restaurant is very clean , nice decor,...More

After living in Córdoba for 5 months, this restaurant turned out to become my favourite in the whole city. I have never been disappointed, nor have the people I recommended it to. Will come back every time I visit Córdoba.

We were dining at Lat Montillana two weeks ago following one local friend recommendation. Although now it is seems to be some tourist-focused, it maintains the essence of a typical "cordobes" restaurant. Very good local food and very nice attention from the waiters (specially thanks...More

Hi Virginia, There is a taxi rank 100 meters from our restaurant. From our restaurant to the train station is 10 minutes by taxi. The answer is yes, you have enough time for the meal. Best, Rafael

This tavern is situated adjacent to the central San Miguel Square. Serving guests on three floors, the eatery belongs to the touristic consortium “Tabernas de Córdoba”. According to notes of Cordoba annalist Francisco Solana, the tavern has been existing since the beginnings of the 1940s.La Montillana’s menu list features dishes typical for the Cordoba area, including traditional Salmorejo, oxtail, Flamenquín, eggplants, suckling pig and codfish. There are different daily recommendations, depending on the respective season. The first floor harbors a hall with capacity for 50 - 60 guests. The second floor has another hall, which accommodates smaller gatherings. Both halls have a bathroom and a wardrobe. Large windows allow perfect views of the San Miguel Church with the large rosette in the facade.La Montillana’s decoration reflects the bullfight tradition. Among other items, the life-sized painting „Picador“, created by local artisan Fernando García Herrera, is impressive. Also worth mentioning are the works of painter López Canito, including paintings depicting the so-called five caliphs of bullfight – Lagartijo, Machaquito, El Guerra, Manolete und El Cordobés.This tavern also has an extensive wine list. Guests can choose from more than 50 wines.
