Me and my boyfriend went for Valentine’s Day and had the best dinner of our trip to Berlin. It’s a gorgeous cozy place with only a few tables. The staff were so kind and helpful and recommended the wine which was delicious. We both had...the raclette which was the best we’ve ever had and was a really big portion but it was so delicious we had to keep eating! We had the chocolate fondant for pudding and it was so rich and decadent. Definitely recommend people go and reserve a table so to not miss outMore

Had a great experience here! The food was delicious, but very large portions so make sure you're hungry before you go! The service was excellent and our server helped us with the menu and what best to pick. I definitely recommend if you're looking for...a nice wine bar with delicious cheese and meats.More

A bit of France hidden in Schöneberg. Be sure to visit this place for buying or for enjoying on the spot its fine charcuterie, cheeses and large wine selection. Simple plates served with a huge smile. We went especially for the fondue and were disappointed...by the small portion for a comparably hefty price. Good that we had a sausages platter as a starter. But we will be back to buy some typical French cheese.More

I had an excellent experience eating on my own here. The staff provided me with an amazing adventure exploring the flavors of France. The mise en place was very attrective, but also served a purpose. Every bite offered an interesting combination of flavors, and all...ingredients were clearly carefully selected. The patron of the establishment was not only accomplished in advising me which wines would enhance my meal, but would also carefully explain the context around that choice. Overall I found it a very fun way to get into the finesse of the French kitchen.More

We visited after seeing the place on trip advisor. I emailed for a reservation and we were accommodated. The menu is in German but the waitress was brilliant and translated everything for us. She made a few suggestions which we went with. We had Cheese...fondue with meats and bread and a nice bottle of red wine. It’s a small intimate shop but this worked. Lots of wine choice, fairly priced and plenty of cheese to choose from. We have a favourite wine and cheese shop back home in England and this was on par. Make a reservation, be prepared to share a table and sit back and enjoy the atmosphere with some nice cheese and wine. We paid €75 for a fondue for 2 people with salads, meats, bread and a bottle of red wine and a bottle of still water. Great little find in a off the tourist trail neighbourhood..More

We stopped in after a long day of touring all that Berlin has to offer, looking for someplace to sit and drink wine. La Cantine d’ Augusta surpasses everything that we expected. The wait staff was friendly and accepting even though our German is mediocre...at best. The food (cheese especially!) & wine pairings were phenomenal. And, our check came with a delicious digestif shot. All in all, we could not recommend this place more if you’re looking for a great retreat in Berlin.More

I have been going to this place for almost two years and they are always rude but the food and wine has outweigh the bad. This time was the last time I go here. First of all they told us that we could have our...table for two hours but upon arrival we were told that we have to leave after approximately one hour. So if you make a reservation make sure to have the time span you are given written down to prove upon arrival. I have always found this to be a nice place but I would recommend to try pretty much any other restaurant in the area to be sure to have friendly service and a dinner that is not clocked and limited to about one hour! 😁More

I was lucky enough to visit in May when my Girlfriend and I did a short break to Berlin. We got a last minute reservation online and decided to Mobike gently from where we were staying to dinner. We arrived and it looked busy, but...lovely, with many people inside and the tables outside full. We took our seat, sharing with a lovely finish couple on a larger table for 4, not a problem and we actually quite enjoyed it. The atmosphere was lively but relaxed and we settled in, we got our menus, they don’t have an English one (I think they’re missing a trick), but not a problem for us and we managed our way though it, and our waitress was very helpful making some recommendations. We made our choices and relaxed with a glass of wine. A little while later our waitress came over and said that as it was so busy there was a little wait on the food but gave us som complimentary olives, and we were enjoying ourselves so it wasn’t a problem. Eventually we received our mix of cheese fondue and a charcuterie board. I have to say the food was excellent, great portion, but not too much, really fresh and beautifully presented. But that’s where the excellence ended... Sadly after we had received our food we were forgotten about, it took nearly 15 minutes to get anyone’s attention to get another drink. And at the end of the meal when we said we would like a couple of minutes to consider a dessert when the menu was presented that was that! We would both of had a dessert but after waiting 40 minutes we both decided enough was enough and I made my way to the front of house to ask for a bill. This is a fantastic, cosy, beautiful little restaurant with amazing food and great wine, it has friendly smiles and a lovely atmosphere, but with nearly 2 hrs to have a cheese fondue, and a 40+ minute wait to potentially order a dessert, we felt massively let down but the service!! Like I said had it not been for how good the food was I would of rated this 3 stars, but it was so close to being 5!!More
