I guess Indonesia is the biggest, by religion, non alcohol drinking country in the world - but this Europe. The toilets are absolutely disgusting, I will avoid it until I get back to the hotel. I can’t say much of the food. I already so...depressed that I will go for the absolute minimum (as I don’t want to disappoint my wife) otherwise I would have been out of here in a split second.More

This was closed to our hotel and based on Tripadvisor reviews decided to try it out. Getting there we were a bit skeptical as it looked a bit dodgy, but boy where we wrong! The good was absolutely amazing - I could easily eat everything...off the menu. The staff were super friendly. The cost was just ridiculously low - awesome value for money. We tried to go there also another night, but unfortunately it was closed that night. Highly, highly recommend going here!More

Visited this restaurant after finding nothing on offer whilst visiting the nearby German Technology museum. Hugely grateful for previous positive TripAdvisor reviews recommending this lovely, very cheap and completely unpretentious venue offering a basic lunchtime menu. It might be a bit too basic for some,...but we loved it - especially the manager who helped move us from having to queue in the rain, and chatted and joked with us throughout our meal.More

Well, it's extremely cheap at lunch. Under 10 euros for a plate and a drink. Even at dinner, prices are little more than that. Portions are large. Service, such as it is, is friendly and fast. Lunch is very crowded, dinner much less so. As...to the cuisine, it feels like everything tastes pretty much alike. Nothing really stands out, but it's not unpleasant at all. We visited Mabuhay a number of times for its convenience to the Kulturforum and to the Philharmonie. It's fine but perhaps not hugely authentic. Could the Germans take authentic? Maybe maybe not.More

I was wondering if the cook knows how indonesian dishes taste! I like traveling and I like Asian food! But here, there is nothing Asian, nothing indonesian. I heard people around me saying it is delicious. I think they don't know the real taste of...rendang or ayam balado... I even say to my friend to cone over for dinner at my place and I will cook a rendang to show how it tastes. Tuk-tuk is sadly closed... it was the best indonesian restaurant in the city! Please, don't compare indonesian food with the dishes at this restaurant 😫, it is not original indonesian food!More

Wnet here for dinner because we love food from different part of the world, specially asian food. This is a small, a little bit hidden restaurant, that serve good food. We ate some fried rice whith duck, and duck with curry sauce. The food was...very good, and the owner was a really nice guy that we appreciated a good talk to before we left the restaurant. Can really recomend coming here. This is a small place that serves tasty food and are nice to their customers.More

What a great find, a hidden gem less than 10 minutes walk from Potsdammer Platz. Food was absolutely delicious, lots of choice which made it difficult to decide as we wanted to try so many things. My sister and I opted for spring rolls, crispy...duck in coconut sauce and vegetables in satay peanut sauce. Is a small friendly place, price was very good value. I would highly recommend.More

Brilliant place. The actual restaurant was very small and unfortunately full, when we arrived. BUT then the waiter showed us a funny little annexe a few steps away. Even though the walls were tent-like, it was warm and very very cosy. Almost like being in...Indonesia. The food was delicious, the staff attentive and the extra chilli sauce was good and hot as it has to be. My warmest recommendations.More

After visiting some museums in the are, we wanted to get something to eat in the area. The location is a bit off from the main tourist route. Inside it’s really small an during our visit everyone was sitting outside on this improvised seating plan...at the parking area outside. The best thing here is definitely the price. The food itself was not that impressive. We were missing some authentic Indonesian flavor. If you want cheap food with a touch of Indonesian flavor, you should definitely visit this place.More

Sooooo delicious! We were lucky to get a table and really enjoyed our food here - it’s incredibly tasty, authentic and at €48 for our family of 5, including drinks - very good value. Lovely family-run restaurant, in a quiet residential courtyard, would highly recommend.

Such a wonderful night. There were three of us hungry as wolves after a work event, and we stumbled upon this little place that looked good in the reviews. It was packed and no tables in sight. The owner was kind enough to make us...feel welcome nevertheless, and pretty soon a small table opened up and we got our wish - chairs, food and drinks. And man, did we eat our fill! Especially the crispy duck was amazing. The staff works really hard and apparently they're superpeople, the same faces were on shift for lunch the next day and just as sunny and shiny as the night before (and packed again, they gave us a time window of 45 minutes before a reservation arrived and we made good use of it with time to spare). We humbly thank you for feeding us family-style and with such kind service. I heartily recommend this restaurant. But do book in advance!More
