We stopped here twice, first on their balcony in the sun for our morning break which was so pleasant we returned for lunch. On our lunch stop it was colder and cloudy so we went inside. They were busy and we hadn’t made a reservation but they found us a table and couldn’t have been friendlier. The food was lovely and came out as soon as we had ordered, there was no rush to take our order though and it was a very relaxed lunch. The restaurant is quite expensive with a small menu of meats, pastas, tartiflette etc, I had a mixed salad. There is also a snack bar underneath which was busy with cheaper prices, burgers and chips etc but you have to sit outside (not on the balcony, although there were deckchairs in the sun).

We love the Belair, which is on the slopes above 1650 from which it can be reached by cable. It is also ideal for skiers. It is in a lovely snow bowl and the views are amazing. It is so popular that you really must book. The welcome is always very friendly and service is efficient and unobtrusive. We were a party of 7 and we were quickly served by the friendly waiters. The food is good and covers many mountain dishes. I had the plat du jour which was a pork dish but it came with an enormous green salad. The coffee is good too but there is never room left for dessert. We come back year after year.

During our skiing holidays we have lunched here several times. It is astonishing how throughout the years, this restaurant can keep up the high quality of both food and service. The tartar is one of the best available, and it is prepared for you at your table. In case you want to try this fabulous restaurant, make sure you have a table reservation - this place is always packed!

The self-service snackbar was really crowded - no wonder on a sunny day and a convenient location. Quite a wide variety of snacks on the menu, most of them the ”normal” ones - hamburgers, fries etc, but a nice surprise was the tartine Savoyarde on the menu. The food is brought to your table and our sandwiches were still hot when we got them. Our group also ordered fries and paninis. We found all of them ok.

Fantastic views and very convenient for non skiers to join for lunch. The menu is not as fancy or extensive as some of the other mountain restaurants but we all enjoyed our food accompanied by some reasonably priced very good Apremont. Recommend the beef carpaccio and salad plates. Prompt service by a rather grumpy and humourless waiter, but maybe he was just having a bad day.

Overpriced, bulk cooked food, kept under a hot lamp so never fresh or hot. You're just a walking wallet. Owner and (some) staff didn't seem to get the memo that the stereotype of rude/arrogant French hospitality is no longer chic. C'est tellement 1996. La Ferme (immediately next door, slightly lower) is exceptional and a much better option. As is the picnic bench and public toilet next to the lift.

We were disappointed with the service. We were on the terrace but as it was quite cool there were few tables occupied but Marion who served us was unable to look at the few tables she was looking after…. My son had a menu with salad but it was served at coffee time... in the meantime we were short of bread but we were apparently invisible to Marion's eyes... we ended up asking the manager for a basket when this one passed by us... once the message was received Marion always took at least 5 more minutes (this does not seem exaggerated but when you have been waiting for more than 10 minutes for her to see that you called her it seems very long! When I had the misfortune to point this out to her she got on her high horse which we found very inappropriate and it is this reaction which pushes me to make a comment. We were very tempted by the desserts but we preferred to leave rather than put up with this unpleasant service any longer. In short, we will not return. On the other hand, Amina who also worked on the terrace was charming.

Not that this place needs any bigging up but it is by far the best restaurant in the 3 valleys resort ! The staff are always incredibly welcoming, service is excellent and the food is superb ! It has amazing views if you sit outside and is warm and inviting inside. If you’re planning on having lunch there then I’d advise a ski past mid morning to pop in and make a reservation because you’re very unlikely to get in otherwise. I’d highly recommend the chicken and ginger ravioli and of course the simple but delicious bel air salad

A fantastic, consistently excellent restaurant, with a sunny location, charming, efficient service and fine food flying out of its kitchen. Far too many places in this neck of the woods provide great food, at a snails pace for the under-critical and over-moneyed (yes you Folie Douce). Every other Maitre D and restaurant owner of a piste side restaurant in the Alps should come here - it’s a lesson in exemplary restaurant management - and just magic.

We were a large table of 28 for Christmas lunch. The weather was beautiful so we sat outside and had the most INCREDIBLE views. The service was exemplary and the staff super friendly and helpful. The food was great especially as we were such a large table. Some great big bowls of salad for the table to accompany our dishes. The 1/4 chicken was delicious as was the steak and chips. A very special and memorable experience helped by the staff including a shot or génépi for us all before we left.

All round a great experience. Had lunch with my wife and 2 adult children. It was recommended by our apartment host so had to try it. The whole experience was excellent - the welcome, the service at the table, the location and most of all the food. Escargots to start - divine. My wife and I had the tartiflette, as good as I have had anywhere. The wine list was extensive, but the house Cote du Rhone at €20 s as bottle was great value. Will definitely go again on our next trip to Courchevel.

ALTITUDE RESTAURANT Affordable Q/P ratio. Dynamic welcome; the bosses complement each other well, recognize their customers well and always offer you an adequate table. Fast service; it's fresh and well prepared, a bit like home. We go there every time we are on the sunny Monriond estate. This year, the service could be a little more "attentive".

I do not recommend for small groups. Very rudd staff looking only for larger groups and you have to wait and see how they are placing other groups even of they are coming after you. Of course there are plenty of tables available but they are asking you to wait.

The proprietor and his wife are charming, however the food let’s the restaurant down. The position of the restaurant is fabulous and people still flock to it. Over the years has been a favourite of ours but their are now much better restaurants on the mountain.

We ski’d over from 1850 to have lunch at this restaurant and it was superb. Excellent service, friendly and attentive. The food was superb and very reasonably priced. The views are fabulous! We booked the day before, it’s extremely popular so if you wish to visit and not be disappointed definitely book in advance.
