My Brothers and I wanted to have a good day with our Mom at the Beach in Nice and we had an awesome time! Drinks are really good, the Beach and view are great and especially the service was veeeery good! A big thanm you...to Victor, Ali and Azer!! I don’t know how you guys keep up with our orders but you did the best job you could have done and also were really friendly!! If you wanna have a unforgettable day at the Beach go visit them you wont regret!!More

My friends and I really enjoyed our day at Beau Rivage. Got there a little before opening so we could get a front row spot by the water and it was well worth it. The food and drinks were delicious and better than those at...Plage Opera, where we spent the day before. We had Azer as our waiter and he was awesome. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they seemed to be understaffed. He was doing his best and was very sweet once he greeted us, but we had to flag him down after being on the beach for several hours without acknowledgement so we could order lunch. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend, but if you want a place with highly attentive service I would look somewhere else.More

We were guests of the Hotel Beau Rivage, and frequented Plage Beau Rivage daily throughout our stay. We received nothing but stellar service at the hands of Victor, Azer, and Ali. These three gentlemen are clear examples of excellent service and guest relations. Sadly, on...our last day, we decided to eat at the restaurant instead of on our lounge chairs at the beach…. Big mistake. How I wish we could’ve been helped by Victor, Azer, or even Ali at this time— but instead we were seated with Melissa. I myself have worked in the service industry for many years, so I understand what it is like to be in an overwhelming environment with a lot to juggle (as I’m sure Victor, Azer, and Ali know this feeling as well). Melissa was callous, careless, and overall disinterested. Right off the bat she gave me a hard time about ordering an extra serving of rice on the side to accompany my meal. When she finally conceded, and eventually brought it out, the rice arrived cold to the table. She placed two cups on our table (intended for our coca colas) filled with melted ice. When we asked for new cups she begrudgingly pointed at the cups already on the table intended for water, and told us to just pour our coke there. We had also ordered still water for the table, but had to flag her down and beg her to bring us the water we ordered multiple times. When it finally arrived (20 minutes later) we obviously did not have cups to pour it in.. not that she cared, nor did she ever bring us any. These are just a couple of the many unpleasant encounters we had with her. She treated us like burdens, and we almost felt afraid/hesitant to ask her for help or order anything else. We planned to order a dessert, but decided to end our meal early and just go elsewhere. Victor, Azer, and Ali— we thank you greatly for your amazing service and attentions. If we decide to return one day it will be solely because of you. Melissa— I truly hope you have a better day tomorrow, or find another line of work as soon as possible.More

A relaxing experience with great taste. I had an excellent grilled trout and was without question granted a “special wish” for the serving because of a food intolerance. Very kind waiters.More

My wife and I went for lunch in Plage Beau Rivage a few days ago. I had called in that morning to make the reservation and noted that the person who took the booking couldn’t have been less interested. Unfortunately this individual turned out to...be our waiter and, although the food and setting were top class, I cannot say he did anything to make our visit enjoyable. Glasses of champagne were plonked on the table, as were the various courses, without even a cursory Bon Appetit. He then smashed a glass beside our table but didn’t apologise, merely muttering to himself as he cleared up. In addition, he wore his face mask as a chin strap for the duration of our visit, which I would be surprised to find is company policy during Covid 19. My wife and I had a very nice meal in a glorious setting and will gladly return, but hopefully we will be served by the other staff members, who appeared to be enjoying serving their customers.More
