Located in the epicenter of Nice nightlife, on the way to the Castel Beach at Cours Saleya.
Good price for cocktails, only 5 euros, good service, but very bad music choice which is so annoying and irritating.
We ent early in evening and place still rather empty: staff was more interested in football games, bread was stale and for 3 ppl, we got 3 cliches of baguette whic is odd, the basket looked like the leftover from another diner. Asked for rose...wine and received while, salad had no dressing and our child was never asked if he wanted the desser that was included with his meal.
Id give them a single star we’re it not for my partner liking his foodMore
I'm surprised by the bad reviews, which (typically!) I only read after we'd visited, having walked in off the street. My husband and I had a lovely meal that I couldn't really have improved on. We had a large beer each (one Warsteiner, one wheat...beer) and a pizza each. The pizzas took a little longer than expected but not too long and were both delicious. Service was okay but not amazing (no one came to check if we wanted dessert or coffee, for example), prices were very reasonable. We would go there again for sure.More
Didn't read the reviews before stopping here, big mistake
Our waiter forgot our drinks order and then we chased up our water twice and they then brought out tap water and mineral and kicked off when we wanted tap water their fault for bring tap...first and then wanted to charge us for mineral water we didn't order.
Waiter very rude and table next to us also had problems with waiter
Food was average
Had the chicken caesar salad and found a bit of fish in it. Hate fish was disgusting.
Dont come here!More
Having wandered down through the old town looking for somewhere for a light lunch, we settled on this place as somewhere that looked fine for food but had a decent outside area under cover. The food was ok - salads were pretty big and the...pizza was good, though it arrived 10 minutes later than all the other dishes. Overall though it was fine, and while not somewhere worth seeking out we had no complaints.More
We were six people for drinks and dinner and were given three small round tables. After being seated nobody came to take the order for almost 15 minutes until I had to get up and request service.
There was one bottle of water for 6 persons.Had...to get up again and request for more water. Two small cups of tortilla chips on two tables. When asked for some more tortillas the waiter got upset.
The waiter was extremely rude and abrupt! He gave us only one food menu for six people and was in a hurry and snatching the menu back. He was slamming plates and glasses on the table. Threw the bill on the table and walked away.
The menu is in French. Staff don't speak English properly
I am surprised the management is not addressing this issue despite so many complaints on web reviews. Also, this is a tourist place and they should go the extra yard not only to maintain a good reputation for their restaurant, but they are also cultural ambassadors of their country and this kind of behavior does not help.
I brought this matter to the attention of the manager. Having returned from holidays I called the restaurant to speak to someone again and none of them understand English properly. I was asked to call back in 10 minutes to speak to someone in English and now they are not answering my calls.
By far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Brasserie LF shame on you for ruining our last evening in Nice !More
Walked up and down this area trying to find a restaurant then settled for L'F. Menu looked fairly good and settled for Pizza with Whisky/Coke. Pizza was fine and actually fairly nice as were the drinks. No complaints re food or wait times. Staff are...fairly vague though.More
Stopped here for a drink, tempted in by the €5 mojitos.
The waitress was rude, and walked off before we’d finished ordering. She then came back with the drinks, and before we were even half way through brought the bill and said “can you pay...me now”. Whilst she took our payment, she stood talking to her friend, barely even looked at us and threw our receipt down. Very rude and she ruined our experience.
Not worth it - walk further down the road and you’ll find many more nice places.More
