Nice little restaurant, very friendly staff. But for me the food didn’t quite hit the mark. Absolutely huge portions - would have preferred higher quality and less quantity. They had also packed so many tables in you lost the joy of dining out in Paris...More

We wanted to experience a true French restaurant. This one was perfect. Old with wooden beams. Food delicious. Service a bit slow, but they were full. Enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend.

Classic old restaurant next to Notre Dame. Duck low to avoid hitting your head as you enter the small passageway to the main dining room. Had the special: a nice smoked salmon starter followed by lamb and ended with the cafe gourmand - all excellent!

We read about this place in a widely used tour book, so we shouldn’t have been surprised it was mobbed by American tourists. One waitress said there wasn’t a table, but the manager said there was. Complicated. The waitresses were quite busy which was why...More

Two stars for the amazing ambience and the quaint look. The staff could work a bit on better hiding their total disdain for their patrons though. After requesting the waitress that my meal please be free of dairy products due to food allergy, I was...More

Seafood cassoulet and french onion soup was to die for. Service was great especially with only 2 staff to serve the whole room. Thumbs up.

Stumbled upon this place after visiting the Notre Dame cathedral. It's just off the main tourist drag so looked to be mostly locals hanging out. Had a nice beer and some escargot. Good pit stop in the neighborhood.

Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very
heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité,
sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of
Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the
site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held
before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic
Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the
Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island,
