Valentines evening dinner, a bit disconcerting that when we got there at 1930 it was empty but it filled up from about 2000. Attentive service from the owner and his staff with very good wine choices.
Food arrived quickly and was nice and hot
A...very enjoyable eveningMore
Visit to Paris on Anniversary. Great location with an amazing atmosphere. Staff were very polite and even went to the effort of translating the menu to English. No rush and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our evening. Restaurant was full to give it...a good atmosphere, but was not crowded and we were always looked after. Staff were engaging with customers and were able to have a laugh. Asked Wine preference and picked the most amazing bottle. Very well priced in our opinion as everything was of an outstanding quality. Will certainly be recommending to friends and a re-visit will be due when returning to Paris in the future. 10/10More
Very friendly staff.
Egg mayonnaise was good
Blanquette de veau was great
Pig cutlet was really excellent
Good wine selection.
Would have been a 5/5 had the egg mayo been more salty.
Second time I’ve been and will definitely go again.
We were a large group looking for a last minute place to dine that would accommodate all of us. The owner was able to reserve a table for us without hesitation on a busy night. The food was amazing! The foie gras was not only...delicious but it melted in my mouth like butter. I don’t know who started the stupid rumor that French waiters are condescending toward Americans because our staff were super friendly and went above-and-beyond in explaining and translating the menu. I definitely will go back when I visit Paris again.More
We had dinner here on our first night in Paris and Le Chenin set the bar for the rest of the visit. Fantastic service and a great atmosphere. And then there's the food and wine. The fois gras was perfect, as were the chanterelles, and the...trio of beef was truly amazing - the only downside is that the portions are very generous! A good wine list, reasonably priced. Highly recommended - and there's a bonus. The owner could be Kevin Spacey's double!More
