We stopped for a lunch at this great central location while taking a break from Pont-Aven’s wonderful museum/art gallery (a must). Restaurant staff were fab, attention to detail exquisite, but the lunch menu, fantastic. The range and flavours were astounding and delivered with understated charm....Nothing too much trouble, time stood still so we could enjoy each moment. Thank you. Return visit soon, I hope!More

I can not say that I've enjoyed an evening more than the dinner we had at this fine establishment. Very nice menu with a wide variety of choices some favorites and some uncommon. Everything that we ordered was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The rooms...are totally charming with plenty of room for each diner to stretch out and feel comfortable. The service was outstanding. Don't miss it if you are in town for the night!More

Our friends came to Pont Aven 30 years ago but could not get a table because it was fully booked. We joined them to satisfy their curiosity on their return to Pont Aven this summer. The food, the setting, the service, and the wine were...all magnificent. One of the best meals of our holiday.More

My second experience at "Le Moulin de Rosmadec" A delicious dinner after a first great lunch, since the very recent re-opening Excellent creative menu. Great mixes of fine savors. Delicious! I will definitely recommend among others the “Sabayon Oyster” and the "House Chocolate Mousse" Le...Moulin is an “out of time” beautiful piece of architecture. A magic place just completely beautiful redesign that has kept all it’s charm and authenticity Overall the welcome and attention of a smiling dedicate team … An experience not to be missed, even just for a coffee and the dessert menu on the terrace.More

Hooray for the new and enthusiastic owners of this outrageously beautiful and romantic restaurant. This really is one of the most beautiful places we ate at, with the most delicious food. The service was delightful - polite, efficient with a sense of humour. The menu...is small but seasonal. The ambiance more formal and elegant- white tablecloths, silverware. Amazingly good value for money for food of this quality. The first dish was a veloute of pumpkin with generous chunks of smoky bacon, topped with toasted buckwheat. Decadent! The fillet of pork cooked to perfection with buckwheat polenta. The crepe filled with an airy souffle like cream tinged with the Breton version of Calvados. Leave the best till last I say. Wall to wall art work, a view over the river, low ceilings and beams, calm interior. The wine list was very reasonably priced. I was introduced to a rose by the owner which was the best I’ve ever had. Sadly I didn’t take a photo of the bottle. About 28 euro a bottle and complex enough to carry three courses. When you visit - and you must - come hungry! This place is all about the delights of Brittany butter, cream, seafood and meat with a clear pride in cooking seasonal food. Go!More

This restaurant, like the associated small hotel, is recently under a new management that is trying to incorporate numerous improvements as quickly as possible. However, three things are already excellent: the location (an idyllic, photogenic spot on the river in the center of town), the...building (also photogenic), and the food. After an amuse bouche of chicken liver terrine with fig, we split a delectable pumpkin, cheese, and cream soup with ground hazelnuts. We could not decide which of the two marvelous main dishes was best: an excellent guinea hen with Roscoff onions and red wine risotto or a monk fish with polenta and hollandaise sauce. For dessert, we split a delicious apple crepe with caramel sauce. A bottle of Chardonnay nicely complemented the meal. The waiters were gracious, helpful, and timely. We would definitely go back in the future. Note: in Brittany, it seems to be the rule that there is only one sitting so the table is yours for the night.More
