Fabulous meal, friendly attentive service, a real delight! Had the menu découverte and loved it all, beautifully presented, refined and delicious. Interesting wine list and staff knew their stuff. Well worthy of its Michelin star, book ahead to get a table at this jewell in...St Jean de Luz, you won’t be disappointed.More

We drove from San Sebastian as all other Michelin restaurants were closed except kokotxa which we dined there the day before. The tasting menu was 5 courses and all very tasty. Great plating, quality and skill. Staff was very nice and pace of food was...good. The weakest dish was the dessert. One thing I have consistently found in most michellin restaurants is that deserts tend to be very experimental with a lot of hit and miss dishes.. In this case the workmanship and precision of the dessert was superb but taste was not memorable.More

A lovely experience in this chic restaurant by the beach at St Jean de Luz. We watched the sun set , as we drank very good local wine with the “chefs choice” menu. The food, that in our opinion has some Asian touches, was faultless....Well presented, with clear explanations of the dishes. The staff were attentive, without being over the top. Well done too the chef, his brigade and front of house team. Thank you.More

Last minute decision to experience dinner here on a short trip to Saint Jean de Luz, I was able to walk in late evening and be seated.. Pleasant ambiance with a table situated looking out at the sea. The server was courteous and assisted with...suggestions. Simple fish appetizer elegantly floating in a light foamy sauce and riz de veau for thé main dish . A delicious choice accompanied by a fine glass of Bordeaux . I finished up with a decadently displayed chocolate dessert.A simple yet elegant meal in a cozy modern atmosphere. I highly recommend it as I will return next trip.More

From booking to the bill we were impressed as to how well this restaurant was run. The service and professionalism of the staff as matched by the amazing food we enjoyed. Although a top restaurant this was not pretentious but run in a very calm...friendly way. The food was superb with a good explanation from the waitress. Our lunch lasted some 2 and a half hours with a window overlooking the beach. The whole experience was one of sheer pleasure and we look forward to a return when next in SJDLMore

We took a day trip today from san sebastian and had lunch here. The restaurant was quite attractive and had a great view of the ocean. We had the tasting menu and a bottle of wine . The price 150 euro was very reasonable based...on the quality and ambiance. The courses were beautifully presented with very good flavor profiles Dessert was special as the waitress said to push the spoon hard to the bottom going thru the top crust. There was a hidden encased sphere which broke open releasing the sauce for the dessert. A very memorable mealMore

Our party of 8 enjoyed a table looking out on the sea and the lighthouse in the distance. The service was unobtrusive, but impeccable. The menu was simple, but offered wide-ranging choices, and everyone in our party was more than satisfied. My dessert, the chocolate...noir, was truly memorable. All in all, the restaurant demonstrated why it had recently earned a Michelin star. A really lovely, relaxing "fine dining" experience, at a price, while not inexpensive, was very reasonable for its quality and sophistication.More

The restaurant lived up to expectations. Wine was a good rioja at 23€ starter of foie gras poele and asparagus then veal with excellent sauce and asparagus fancy dessert and chocolate. Brilliant superb view and ambiance. 120€ for two good value.
