We visited for lunch. We loved the food selection, both veggie and none veggie. The food we had ( lentil and veg stew, avocado and halloumi on toast and an open meat ball sandwich) were all very very good. The cafe was busy but it's...More

Right in the heart of Town, Baltzersens is a small narrow Café - light and clean décor with an interesting selection of paintings. The Hot Chocolate was amongst the best I have ever had. Seating can be a little tight. Delightful Staff. Dogs allowed.

Fantastic little find for a quick bite for lunch in Harrogate! We came across it by chance and were absolutely not disappointed. The presentation was wonderful, the food was delicious and service was quick.

This restaurant has great potential, it's a shame that all the front of house staff were sullen, uninterested teenagers. They need some serious training on customer service. However, the kitchen staff in contrast seemed to be working extremely hard and we did end up having...More

Always have brunch at Baltzerens when in Harrogate. The menu offers many delights that are a bit different from the norm and has something for everyone, young and old. The service is friendly and slick. Definitely worth a visit.

What a lovely little cafe - lots of yummy cakes in the window and a great brunch spot if you are after something that is a bit more than the usual ‘eggs on toast’. Accompanied our brunch with freshly squeezed orange juice and a coffee....More

This is an ideal cafe, full to the brim of happy eaters and with those little extras you hope to find. A water station with cold still or sparkling water and a range of newspapers. True you are in a queue but they quickly find...More

Looked like a very authentic menu. I went for bacon and poached eggs on toast with some extra spinach. My cinnamon bun was a little hard and dry on the outside but the rest of the food was good. The only thing they couldn't get...More

Hi Gemma. Yes, we’re a dog friendly cafe. We just ask that if your dog is uncomfortable or disturbing other guests that you take the necessary action to remedy that. Regards The Baltzersen’s Team.

Hi Kirsty, I’m afraid we don’t take bookings at Baltzersen’s. We offer tables first come first served and we’d get you seated as soon as possible. If you’d be interested in a champagne brunch you can book that with our... More

Baltzersen's is a Scandinavian inspired cafe and bakery based in the centre of Harrogate. We bake all of our own cakes and pastries from scratch with cinnamon buns being our most famous bakery product. We serve breakfast, brunch and lunch with our traditional waffles being a particularly popular choice all day and for an afternoon tea. We brew coffee using our bespoke blend from North Star Roast (Leeds) on espresso and single origin filter coffee from Maude (Leeds) on blue brew. Teas are supplied by The Tea Experience based in Doncaster. Our milk is from award winning organic dairy farm Acorn Dairy. We are child friendly, offer free fibre WiFi, free chilled filtered still or sparkling water and you are welcome to bring your dog too. We hope to see you soon. Regards Paul and the Baltzersen's team.
