Roisin the waitress made us welcome as soon as we entered, My wife & I visited on Sat. the 14th Nov. Had a lovely meal & cocktails bought for us by my daughter & son in law.The staff were very helpful with our choice of...cocktails & food, Place was spotless & tables cleaned when they were cleared, Will certainly be back, Had the Glasgow iced tea cocktail but prefered the Tom collins.More
We visited yesterday (Sep 19th) to find it had relaunched on Friday under new owners. We had 3 n-crowd vouchers which were each for 4 cocktails. the vouchers were honoured though it's likely the current owners didn't get the money we paid. Staff were very...welcoming and we ended up staying to eat. The menu is a wee bit different, with a nice range of dishes, most of which are under £10. The food was good, we were all served at the same time and it was nicely presented. There was music starting just as we left around 8pm and it seems this will be a feature . We liked the bar and the staff and will definitely be back.More
After buying a deal on Groupon we thought we were going to a nice contemporary bar. The place is has a nice website and is decorated to a high, modern finish. But small things let this down: Staff wearing jeans and hoodys, tables not being...cleaned after people have left,
Also it sells cheap drink and shots which attracts more of a cheap night out client rather than a classy bar.More
Visited here on a Groupon voucher (steak+wine) on a Saturday evening at the end of August 2015. Very nice + cosy + the waitress couldn,t be more helpfull. Had the sirloin steak which was lovely but the peppercorn sauce is to be avoided (very runny...+ tasteless). Overall a nice little restaurant but was very quiet when wee were there.More
Was out with my mum shopping and decided to stop in Oscars for a bite to eat. Possibly the best lunch I've had in a while. We really enjoyed it. I had the Bruschetta and onion rings, I would definitely have it again :) great...value for money and the service was amazing! When I asked what cocktail was recommended I was made a lovely cocktail that wasn't on the menu. Very attentive, great food, great drinks will definitely be back with my mum next time were out shopping in town :-)More
We visited Oscars for lunch during a shopping trip to Glasgow. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality, value and service. Our sirloin steaks were cooked to perfection and the home made chips were sublime. We will definitely return.
came in here via a groupon deal and was really surprised by the standard of food and service i had the scallop starter which one of the best starters ive tried in a long time my wife had the breaded mushrooms which were great as...well for mains we enjoyed two steaks cooked exactly to our liking service was prompt and pleasent with our waiter telling us about an upcoming change to the premises and menu will absoloutly be back ,a hidden gemMore
I visited this place maybe 2 months ago food was lovely , staff very attentive.
only thing that has made me thing twice about going back was the young crowd hanging about in the corner at the bar , if you fancy some nice food...I suggest you go early as the noise was off putting another negative point was the kitchen appears not to have any air conditioning as they rely on the front door being left open to clear the smell of food cooking thats ok if we have tropical weather but this is Glasgow so maybe wear thermals if you visitMore

Turn up and say you booked with the girl on the phone, honestly it will work, they are so disorganised they wont have a clue. The bar is twenty foot long and they have two reservation books that are a mess. If they don't have a seat demand your money back and hand over the voucher. Plenty more top class restaurants within a couple of blocks. Palomino is first class!!
