My husband and I went to this restaurant for the 1st time tonight. Was very busy but there were plenty of staff on which allowed the restaurant to run smoothly. Food was absolutely delicious. I had pepperoni pizza and it truly was the best pizza...I’ve had. Hubby had the macaroni which was very tasty. All staff were very courteous and I would definitely go back againMore

We had takeout pizza, I've found some great and some not so great GF pizzas in the area but this is the best it's just the right amount of doughiness 🤣 and still crispy charred at the edge 🍕 my search is over 😋 The...normal/muggle pizza is also great😋More

Our Boxing Day visit to our favourite restaurant in Glasgow was outstanding. I had Scottish Scallops which were delicious followed by Haddock Meuniere which melted in the mouth. The friendly atmosphere on arrival was lovely with Santa hats decorating every table to help get guests...into the festive spirit. The service is top class with regular visits to the table to look after us. Special mention to Callum who was very attentive throughout our visit. Look forward to visiting again soon.More

This is a very popular restaurant so best to book, we had a nice night, tasty food, service pretty slow though and £17.20 for two glasses of rose wine was excessive to say the least!

This was my first visit and let me say, in general the food was very good as was the atmosphere given that it was a Sunday night in October. The young waiter / s who served us was / were very pleasant however there was...an older gentleman, if I remember with grey hair that seemed totally disinterested and slightly off hand - perhaps the same one mentioned in other reviews? It was not an inexpensive evening by any standards and whilst the food makes up for the majority of an overall positive dining experience the attitude of the staff can quickly tip the balance the other way. There are several Italian eateries offering good food to choose from within the south side of Glasgow....it's important to get the whole customer experience rightMore

Our group chose this location for our monthly catch up. The welcome was indifferent and set a standard for the afternoon. The restaurant was half full but there seemed to be more that adequate staff available, however they seemed to to trying to see who...could avoid the most. it took some time to get some drinks and our food order taken. The food itself was tasty and well presented throughout the meal but was delivered in a very slapdash manner as if we were an annoyance. The final straw was we had to request the bill 4 times in order to leave the building, needles to say no tip from a group of men who are usually very generous. Wont be rushing back.More

What an amazing place! First time visiting and the food and service were second to none! All the staff were so attentive and brought our friend a birthday coffee and sang happy birthday with a sparkler in cream! Such a great touch…..the food was perfect...too just a great experience all round!More

I have visited this restaurant on a few occasions and each time I leave thinking about the awful service but saying nothing . This time I will . There is one waiter that I always find brusque and unwelcoming and guess what - we got...him again ! He rolled his eyes when my friend couldn’t make out what he said - the restaurant was extremely busy and noisy , coupled with a mask does make it difficult . He then proceeded to constantly look round the restaurant while handing us the menus upside down , completely disinterested . The meal in itself was fine but ruined by that ignorant waiter . Perhaps he’s family , but family or not I would be saying arrivederci !More

We went to La Vita Picolino e Vino last night. We were seated promptly and welcomed properly at about 8 45p.m. We ordered one course each from the A La Carte. I had veal milanese with spaghetti pomodoro. The veal did not taste good as...if it was fried in stale or rancid oil. A pizza with barbecued chicken had rather too much garlic in the base tomato sauce. I ate about half the veal and my partner the same with the pizza. I paid the bill and told the waiter about the issues. He appeared to reject the criticism and just walked away indifferently which is an inappropriate way to treat a regular customer.More

Our takeaway went badly wrong this evening. We ordered via their own app and were given a collection time in 1 hour. My husband went to pick it up and had to wait an additional 45 minutes over the collection time. They didn’t apologise and...just said they were busy. When he got home he opened his calzone pizza to find it charred black. I phoned to complain - they offered a replacement but given we had waited almost 2 hours for the first order we didn’t want to wait another 2. I asked for a refund of this particular item - but was told they would only refund it if they could collect it and return it to their chef. By this time my husband was trying to eat the filling and didn’t want to start looking for new food. A poor show this evening. Excuses ranged from they were busy to ‘calzone pizzas’ have to be cooked longer because they have a filling. Make up your own mind from the photo!More
