My son and I visited yesterday and had the most enjoyable lunch, we opted for the the Chefs Tasting Menu which was so delicious. Our favourite courses included the scallop and the chocolate dessert but they were all really rich and flavourful. It is quite...difficult to get a reservation but worth pursuing as it’s a great experience. The excellent team of servers and front of house are so friendly, yet clearly knowledgeable. A visit here is highly recommended.More

I honestly don’t think it would be possible to improve on any aspect of this dinning experience. The greeting gets full marks. The Service gets full marks. I don’t have words to explain just how special the food is. The wine pairing option is an...absolute must, you will be pushed to find better.. To top all of that, extremely friendly, chatty people working here.. No wonder it has a star and I’d say safe to assume there will be more to follow..More

Just wow! We were thrilled to experience the Chefs table and from start to finish, the service and food was exceptional. Every single dish was faultless. I felt very special getting a birds eye view of the kitchen, and what a treat getting to speak...to several of the very talented chefs. Every single member of staff was friendly but so professional. The restaurant has such a cosy, comfortable ambiance and not stuffy at all. Can not wait to return!More

It is clear from the moment you walk in why this is the only Michelin starred restaurant in Glasgow. Attentive service from amazing staff, scrumptious food, and everything just seems to flow really well. Sure, it’s expensive. But I have eaten in a few Michelin...starred restaurants in my time, both here and abroad, and paid MUCH more. I’ve even paid similar for another (allegedly) top restaurant in Glasgow (no names mentioned) and left feeling deeply underwhelmed. I would certainly go back, but not for a wee while as I want to taste and smell the food from other seasons. Lorna McNee really is a top-drawer chef!More

Have visited Cail Bruich many times before and it has always been a fantastic experience but this was my first visit since they received their Michelin star so I was slightly apprehensive that the atmosphere may not be as informal and relaxed as before. I...needn't have worried, the ambience was really friendly and each plate of food from canapes to dessert were just outstanding! I went with my daughter who says she now understands why I've raved so much about Cail Bruich over the years! Fine dining is not something she has experienced much of and she said felt totally at ease with everything. More expensive than before so will need to get saving my pennies for another visit at some point!More

Pretty exceptional really and right up there with Andrew Fairlie. Faultless service and the food was just delightful. I’m only giving it 4 instead of 5 stars as the booking process is excruciating to the point we nearly gave up. Not sure how you can...sort that, so won’t comment further. I can see why it is so expensive as it’s easily one staff member per customer, pretty much the least stressful dining experience I’ve ever had. One wee thing and I’m sure I can’t be the first, I wanted to post on SM, share pictures etc, but my phone was dead, I asked if you had a charger and was told no ? Please go and buy a load of chargers, just in case. Apart from that, we’ll be back, brilliant restaurant. Well done all 👏🏻👏🏻More

This was our 2nd visit after a 'chef's table' dinner in the summer. We had the tasting menu this time. Exceptional on both occasions. We've eaten in many 1 & 2 Michelin star places over the decades but this place surpasses the majority of them,...not just in terms of the food but on the exceptional, professional but friendly and welcoming front of house staff. The unstuffiness of the place makes you feel relaxed, happy & special which makes it my kind of place. The country house hotel setting of Gleneagles just isn't our thing so we can't compare but I feel you are getting the same quality here for half the price. Not to say it's cheap but the food equalled or surpassed some of the 2 star places we've eaten in on the continent and paid up to 600 euros for the privilege. There are less than a handful of other Michelin star places I'd go back to in Scotland, most likely for their lunch deals but this is currently my number one dinner choice in Scotland for a special experience. As far as the food is concerned, their are no peaks and troughs. Every dish was memorable. Magnificent.More

What a lovely place and what fabulous food. Everything was perfect and the staff were charming, attentive and enthusiastic about the food they were serving. We had the lunch tasting menu yesterday and although everything was excellent, I really loved the chocolate dessert which was...fabulous and not too sweet . Thank you Cail Bruich for making a dreich November day a bit brighter.More

My parents and I dined for lunch yesterday and oh my gosh I just have to compliment every single aspect of the experience. From the greeting at the door to the second we walked (or rolled 😂) out the door it was perfect. The servers...are knowledgeable and super friendly making it a great atmosphere. Loved the decor and the general buzz in the restaurant and the food, my god the food!!! 🤤 My favourite was definitely a toss up between Hen of the woods mushroom and the roe deer. The newer chocolate cherry dessert was to die for too! Worth every penny and I’ll definitely be backMore

I was really looking forward to coming here and it surpassed high expectations. Food so pretty and a wonderful array of luxury ingredients from Britain and France. Staff very friendly indeed and very chill atmosphere. Array of fruity drinks on offer were beautiful, esp bright...yellow amaretto sour cocktail, thing of beauty. Very, very impressed indeed and planning a return visit.More
