Stayed and dined here for one night. The property is positioned right on the harbour front and well placed for exploring the town of Arbroath. Property has it’s own resident’s parking area. Room was clean and modern situated above the main bar and restaurant along...with 4 other ensuite bedrooms all accessed via an external separate entrance. We enjoyed a great evening meal in the cosy bar area. We had Smokie Gratin and Cullen Skink to begin, all made with produce sourced directly from the sea just a few steps away followed by Battered Haddock with Chios and a lovely homemade Chicken Curry with Basmati Rice. Couldn’t resist finishing with Cloutie Dumpling and Custard. The portions were enormous but equally delicious. Next morning we had a great freshly cooked breakfast (items pre-ordered the night before). All staff were polite, professional and friendly. Highly recommended. Well done to all!!More

We had lunch in here and the food was lovely. There were plenty of options on the menu, all reasonably priced and we enjoyed our food. The staff were very friendly and really good with our 22 month old son. He wouldn't eat his lunch...but the lovely lady serving us bought him out some shortbread and ice cream to make sure he ate something. Thank you for being so kind. We will definitely be back next time we visit Arbroath. James, Katie and Kevin.More

Ate one night whilst staying in Arbroath, we had booked and it seemed busy so probably a good idea. We both had the fish and chips, which was huge and really good, too full for a dessert!

Ordered 2 fish and chips which were ok, run of the mill frozen chips and at nearly £14 per portion real hand cut chips be better ?! Also ordered a starter of Stornoway black pudding and haggis on top and sauce, couldn't even cut black...pudding never mind eat it ?!! Hockey puk !! Ate outside as was too warm inside an No One came out to ask how our meal was at all, only when we were walking away a girl ran out to grab plates before seagulls attacked !!! Camera on wall outside so obviously watching for us leaving !! Won't be back as medioka food at top prices !! And the smell of raw sewage was very over powering from pumps under ground less than 20ft away. Will never returnMore

We loved this place so much that we went back the next day for a second helping. The food is delicious and they even have a separate vegan menu, much to my husband's delight. We had our two dogs with us and were made to...feel most welcome. We had glorious weather both days so were able to sit at the outside tables and it was a total sun trap! The staff are friendly and the service is good too. Highly recommend if you are in the area. We'll be back!More

The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, Rachel had a great knowledge of the menu and gave us great advice. The food was sublime and exceeded expectations, I can’t recommend highly enough

Excellent fresh food. Nice choice of food on the children’s menu, the sausages were proper butchers ones rather than the cheap ones they often get in places. The food came quickly which is just what we want when eating out with the kids. Staff were...friendly and the place is spotlessly clean and nicely decorated.More
