Came for a lunch with friends. Warm, friendly welcome and prompt service. We ordered a range of meals from the menu and all were good Good sized portions and reasonable value.

Went with a group of friends for a meal before the match and I was pleasantly surprised with the vegetarian option. Great for sitting indoors or out. Reservations might be a good call for busier days.
I’ve been here many times with my daughter, other family member, groups of friends and for boozy brunch! Leah has always been extremely attentive and provided colouring paper and pens for my little girl. On occasions when I’ve been with my mum who has intolerances,...there is a good option of meals! I had family over and we had Sunday lunch in which was fantastic with starter and dessert and good value for the quality of food. Thank you Leah and all the staff for always being welcoming and offering good service! Look forward to the next boozy brunch!More
Went here for Mother’s Day avoid at all costs Sunday Roast was not edible ruined Mother’s Day I would never come here again for food very very disappointing
Poor service, very slow, left upstairs with no staff and very rude when paying our bill with one member of staff commenting 'no tip then' to other staff when we were leaving. Won't be dining here again!! Wouldn't have given tip anyway due to poor...service.More
We had a hard time finding places to eat near our hotel. This one is in a busier part of town and has elevated pub fare. Honestly can’t remember what we ordered, but it doesn’t stand out as terrible or amazing. Reliable is the best...description.More
As we were in the area and looking for a decent place and nice atmosphere we thought we would take the plunge and head to the fat boar, the place was really nice and looked clean to some degree, we were sat down, The table...was sticky and felt dirty which was pretty bad I think, the food wasn’t to bad at the price and it was good which I thought it was really nice, when it came to the bill came I was a bit annoyed that they had put a tip on there and didn’t ask if that was ok, I didn’t think that it should of been on there, I didn’t want to raise it with the staff as I was on a date, there wasn’t any decent service that would warrant it, either way the food was nice and it was an enjoyable time.More
Without doubt one of the worst dining experiences I have had. A long wait for the food to arrive, the food when it did arrive was either overcooked and/or left in the oven and become very dry. No waiter service had to go to the...bar for our drinks. All in all a very bad experience and will NEVER go backMore
Had a Turkey Roast Dinner via their delivery system. Was so good and delicious. Plenty of food and amazing gravy. The only problem I had was that I had requested to swap the swede mash, but it came with it anyway.
Totally disgusting Poor customer service nasty manager the Food came out cold and was made to feel like at was my fault no apology I asked for Fresh hot food and was made to feel really uncomfortable I will never come to this establishment again...the customer service is the worst in Wrexham I am happy to pay for food but is was the worst experience I have never had If that what customer service is about then you deserve the 0 star rating that you have in your sister establishment For the cost of the meal which wasn’t cheap it was disgusting Please give other places a try this is NOT a nice place to eatMore
Group of work friends. This was the worst one we've been too.Out of 5 cocktails we only drank one. They were awful and weak.Food wasn't great neither.wont be going to cocktail night again after spending £40 each.
Had a fantastic night having a Christmas meal with 22 friends. The staff were amazing. Very accommodating, attentive and polite. The food was very good and nobody was sitting around waiting for theirs - so timing was spot on. I was willing to be going...back and would highly recommend itMore
Just off the high street and close to the Eagles Meadows shopping Mall. Lots of choices on the menus. Great offer on from 12-19:00 £13 for two course. Tried the crispy beef, noodles, prawn crackers. Have never been served crispy beef as long meaty chunks...but you know they were delicious with the noodles and a good portion size 👏👏. Chicken Kiev sauce was also very tasty and a starter of the Fat Boar mini sausages x7 with a garlic dip soooo yummmy. Very quick to serve the starter but had to wait about 30 minutes for the main courses (no apology) and the red cabbage was only warm not hot (we did point this out) Nice dessert choices. Tried the waffle very nice. Cosy inside but got a little noisy when it got busy (it’s those wooden floors 🥴). Lots more room upstairs where you can book in for parties and outside had heated huts and table tennis. Nice to see cheery staff and tables were cleared right away.More
Visited with a group of work friends for dinner. A bit disappointed to see the menu hadn't changed, it could do with a freshen up, I think? I chose the vegetable spring rolls as a starter.) The two, thin spring rolls on a few rocket...leaves didn't really justify the £7.25 price tag (or 7¼ as this restaurant seem to favour). My main was the vegan Penang curry with fragrant rice and flatbread. Again this wasn't particularly good value for money at £14. It consisted mostly of rice with a small amount of vegetables in a thin south east Asian style sauce. The curry itself was tasty enough, but I was disappointed by the ratio of rice to sauce. It felt rather that the meal was 'bulked out' with rice and bread. However, the staff were really attentive and always ensured we had drinks etc. This used to be the 'go to' place in Wrexham for food that was a step up on the average pub fare. I don't think I'll be rushing back as it's just too expensive for what you're getting.More
Rats - never again . Sat in beer garden and a giant rat appeared , it was huge , we were going to eat here but decided against it !
