Five of us had Sunday lunch in the lovely restaurant. The atmosphere was friendly, with staff very attentive and friendly. We all had the lamb shank which was delicious, as were the individually served vegetables, cooked to perfection. We will be visiting again to try...the other options on the menu, all of which sounded lovely.More

I had a lovely evening. Great service, especially from the slim male waiter, sorry I can’t remember his name, but nothing was too much trouble for him and he was very welcoming. The food was great. Service excellent, not rushed and the atmosphere and venue...was something a bit different. Prices were very reasonable too. I can’t wait to visit again soon. Thank you to all the staff for such a special evening last night.More

Starters were really nice (soup, bread board), but that's unfortunately where the good ends. I ordered a burger, and I didn't even want to taste it because it looked absolutely disgusting. Food presentation IS important to a lot of us, and if a burger looks...like someone threw up between two patties, I will lose my appetite, which is exactly what happened here. And the icing on the cake? The idiotic waitress was leaning RIGHT over me to serve another of our group, so I had to tell her off. Apparently she's never heard of covid or social distancing. I won't be coming back here, that's for certain.More

We tried to book one of the top four restaurants on Tripadvisor but they were all closed!! However we were pleased they were because we would not have found this amazing place for lunch, so good we went back in the evening for dinner. We...were a party of three and the staff could not have been more accommodating , polite and cheerful. If you visit Shrewsbury visit The Henry Tudor House.More

We had recently (last few months) eaten out on numerous occasions in local restaurants and had been disappointed. Poor service, limited menus or poor quality food. We haven’t visited you before but thought we’d try the menu looked good. We came to you on NYE...which is usually a busy time. Your staff were outstanding, polite, responsive and chirpy. Quite a quirky group which we liked. The atmosphere was lovely. The food was fab, as described on the menu and the wine was also really good. The best we’ve had in over a year of eating out. You have restored our faith in eating out, thank you. Keep up the good work xxMore

6 of us spent New Year here. Beautiful restaurant. Fantastic service and delicious food. Mushroom ice cream ? Unbelievable !! And if anybody previously had told me a cauliflower steak could be so yummy, I would have chuckled in your face. Fantastic evening. Give it...a go if you are visiting Shrewsbury 😊More

I started visiting initially on a Friday evening for a few drinks with my partner. It’s a lovely relaxing atmosphere & drinks are reasonably priced. We’ve since eaten there a few times & love the food too. Staff are really friendly & always happy to...help.More
