I cannot rate The Wheatsheaf highly enough. The menu is concise and everything we have eaten is always top draw. Their burgers are incredible and on a Wednesday you get 2 for £15 which is an absolute bargain. They have other offer on in the...More

Fantastic food and excellent service. What a great place. Came to celebrate a friend’s birthday and every single dish was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Can really recommend the prawn starter and cod and chips main dish.

We were visiting Northampton and found this hidden gem through trip advisor. We happened to visit on the Steak Night. The service and atmosphere were fantastic and the food was lovely. The Wild mushroom on sourdough was delicious too. Very sastisfied :)

Fantastic food at great value which was pure theatre coming out of the kitchen. The service was excellent as were the wines. We'll be back, (again!)

Been countless times, both as a couple and in a group and could not fault the pub. Incredible food, friendly accommodating staff, wonderful atmosphere. Always excited for a Wheatsheaf Wednesday. Would return much anytime somebody says the word Wheatsheaf.

Yes dogs are more than welcome in the bar. Doggy treats are free for our little companions plus a bowl of water both inside and outside the pub. The 'pub dog', Alfie is very friendly and often wandering about - he'll entice... More
