The food was lovely, we had a carvery dinner. Everything was spot on. The bar staff were pleasant & well mannered & floor staff were very nice too...we were asked how our food was & if we needed anything. We also had desserts...they're to die...More

Well cooked good food. Friendly staff but a small menu. Asked for a medium burger but it came well done. Not worth a detour but if you’re in the area try it out.

A+ would recommend highly. Food , staff and venue are something. Will be visiting in summer as it is so do beautiful .

Nice, old feel to the premises. Good staff. The camembert starter was a good one to share. Excellent fish and chips, and vegetable hot pot. Roast pork had been left keeping warm to long and some of the roast potatoes were past their best. Still...More

Yes dogs are more than welcome in the bar. Doggy treats are free for our little companions plus a bowl of water both inside and outside the pub. The 'pub dog', Alfie is very friendly and often wandering about - he'll entice... More
