Had a lovely lunch at Fischer's. Staff were exquisite, kind and warm. I sat at the bar and had a pleasant chat with the barmen. Food was tasteful and well presented. I would definitely return when back in London.

My first visit to an Austrian restaurant and it won’t be the last. I arrived early and was shown to our table in a very buzzy restaurant. I was immediately offered a jug of water whilst I waited for my companions. They duly arrived and...More

Lively and busy atmosphere on Saturday - for our lunchtime celebration. Great food and generous portions. Chef's humour - an offer of the iconic " Wiener |Schnitzel " - either traditional Veal or ......Chicken ! Attentive and friendly service - we'll be back !

A late dinner with three colleagues was made memorable, not just by the excellent company, but by Fischer's unique atmosphere and fresh take on Austrian classics. The term "solid food" could have been invented for their superb venison goulash, but the fish and steak tartare...More

Busy, popular, but no less as a result, service is very good, and the quality of the food is high, diverse, and of course Austrian. The drunken sisters desert is something quite special.

We booked a table for two and arrived quite early, but our table was ready so we were seated by a friendly staff member. The interior of this place is beautiful, wood paneling, bronze tinted glass and pictures and photos of old Vienna. And everything was...More

If your taste runs to Austrian/Bavarian food, then it's hard to do better than this in London. Go for the schnitzels.

A really well run restaurant. First contact was by phone, where Nicoletta to whom we spoke was most accommodating in finding us a table on a busy Saturday night. This was a family outing and we are all fussy, but our expectations were exceeded. The...More

Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods
cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience.
Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged
between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the
southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of
Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as
pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The
bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it

I don't think you need to be super smart but it's a lovely Art Deco room so you could make an effort if you wanted to. Think they would be easy either way so it's entirely up to you.....
