Jovan was a great waiter. Food awesome and filling. The soup is an absolute winner. Do not eat before you visit, you will not need to!

Hariz is a credit to this establishment. Big smiling welcome from all staff. Complimentary still or sparkling water whilst you order. Varied menu including plenty of meat, fish and vegan options. There’s something for everyone from the land, sea or vegetable plot! Generous portions, attentive...staff and quick service. Yes I’ll be returning!More

I am from Texas so I went in with the thought of "they have NO clue" of southern cuisine. I stand corrected! Now it is not the normal hickory, pecan smoked meat I am accustomed to but they are the best place that I have...tried outside of the US. The waitstaff was awesome, if you get Hariz you will enjoy yourself. He will take care of you. Gets busy so consider reservation.More

Despite an exceptionally busy pre theatre Saturday night we were welcomed in without a booking and a table arranged for us. We were served by Hariz who looked after us by topping up our drinks regularly and checking if our food was good. What an...amazing young man Hariz is. Even though the restaurant was busy we felt very looked after and enjoyed the hospitality Hariz provided. The food was amazing. The atmosphere buzzing and we are looking forward to returning. 10/10 all rounder.More

We had an absolutely excellent evening at the Americana. We were superbly looked after by Sonia who anticipated our every need and served us with wonderfully professionally, friendly service. We felt like part of the family. The food was excellent. Kudos to the kitchen staff...for producing such great food. Also we need to recognise the superb Cuban Duo who played endless South American music which fitted our Colombian and Peruvian group to a tee. We seemed to take over the whole restaurant and danced with their great beats and songs from the region. All together a fantastic night out that would be very hard to repeatMore

Next door to the Haymarket Theatre so very convenient for an after theatre dinner. Their website lists and after theatre menu (until 11 pm) as well as a late night menu. None of these were available even though we were there at 10pm. The service...was excellent and the place had a good vibe, but both the chilli & cheese nachos as well as the Gascony ribs were disappointing. The burgers looked good but no idea as to how they tasted.More

We had just arrived in London, took the Tube to Piccadilly and needed food. We saw the sign, figured why not? Well, what a GREAT choice we lucked into. We were quickly led to a table and our waiter turned out to be one of...the best we've ever encountered iin all of our travels. His name is Jovan, super personable, great suggestions, efficient without being intrusive and just a joy to talk to. It was nice to observe his interactions with other diners and his colleagues- this wonderful person is the real deal. The food exceeded my expectations, especially since I LOVE southern food and didn't have much hope that southern food in London would actually be southern. Jovan suggested a smokey margarita and my wife suggested using Mezcal and then adding the smoke on top- the two suggestions made for a new favorite. My wife said the Southern Crab Cakes were divine. The caramelized pork belly? - Delicious! The ribs in the whiskey BBQ sauce? - Excellent! The Original Sticky Toffee Pudding? - Perfect, not too sweet, perfect balance, and the Americana's Chocolate Sin? - Superb. Add the fact that this place is located in the theatre district makes it all the more special.More

I visited Americana yesterday for my birthday with my family for the first time. From walking through the door when we arrived to leaving our whole experience was fantastic. Hariz and Jovan were so lovely, helpful and attentive. They were a lot of fun. Now...for the food. We were a family of 3 adults and 2 children. We all had 3 courses which were all fantastic. Everyone loved what they had. This restaurant has it all, great food, great staff and a lovely looking restaurant. We will 100% return again and will definitely be recommending Americana to friends and family.More

I rocked up here for a mid-evening meal. The restaurant was not busy but after sitting down the music started up with a singer plus recorded backing track. It was happy music but I felt in was too loud for the space and spoilt the...meal (this is not a criticism of the performer). It took a while to be served and I had to call someone across. The food order was taken in a professional way and the food was fine, with good choice of food. The dishes were expensive in my view. The server asked me to leave a review giving her name.More
