Myself and a group of friends had a fantastic Saturday afternoon drinking and eating. Great beers and really good food, burgers are top notch. The only little let down was the garlic ciabatta £3.29 for half a ciabatta toasted with some garlic butter, avoid this...More

Not sure who is running this place now but it really has gone downhill in the last year. Ordered lunch and I have to say the food is poor and expensive for what you get. Hunters chicken sandwich was two pieces of dry toasted brioche...More

The pub is in a pleasant location. Inside it is welcoming and there is a nice selection of beers to choose from. As the pub is rather small it became very noisy as the pub filled up. So for an early evening drink for us...More

Visiting London with my Mum. After going to Buckingham palace and James park we popped into the colonies. Nice to be in a proper pub. Had a couple of drinks and some nibbles. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Would recommend!

I visited The Colonies Friday night and it was a really busy and lively atmosphere. Bar staff was friendly and helpful and service was prompt and professional. I returned the following day with a group of mates (8 girls in total) to watch the England...More

The first thing I noticed when entering this pub was the smell. At first I thought there must be a wet dog but no. Perhaps a customer was wearing a musty jumper (the odour was similar to grubby bar towels but there werent any visible)...More

The Colonies, located opposite the Wellington Barracks, is a nice and friendly pub. I have only been there for drinks but notice that they serve food too.

Hidden gem very close to Cardinal Place in Victoria. My friend and I go there for lunch every so often, food is delicious and fresh.

I have given this review more stars than it deserves, simply because looking around at other people's food it looked acceptable. Mine and my friend's were not. We both ordered the same - an open salmon sandwich priced at £8.99. It was simply a slice...More

Been to this pub a few times recently and it is great. Visited from Liverpool recently and the food and beer is great and the staff are friendly.

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are

Well the pub can be busy if the weather is good. It's quite small inside and I don't think they will provide drawing kits n pencils. It's on two levels with a small outside garden which has several tables. Best to call and... More

Traditional British pub serving cask and craft ales, with a full bar selection, great hospitality and excellent British food. We have both Sky Sports and BT Sport so you can watch the latest matches. We also have a lovely outside area where you can watch the sports.
