Most of London’s Peruvian restaurants are over hyped! This one is a great local serving delicious, wonderfully flavoured, authentic food at reasonable prices. A great find if you’re looking for this type of fare! Give it a try!

I recently dined at "Tierra Peru," a Peruvian restaurant, and the experience was truly delightful. The food, including the ceviche, anticuchos, chicharrón, and arroz con mariscos, showcased authentic Peruvian flavors that left a lasting impression.
Moreover, the staff at Tierra Peru were not only friendly but also exceptionally amicable. Their warm hospitality added a wonderful touch to the overall dining atmosphere, making it a memorable visit. I highly recommend Tierra Peru for those seeking an authentic Peruvian culinary experience coupled with welcoming service.

Tierra Peru exceeded all our expectations! The food was phenomenal, with authentic flavours and generous traditional portions that transported us straight to Peru. Don Julio's service was exceptional—he was warm, and attentive, and made us feel right at home. We loved our experience so much that we dined here two days in a row. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a true taste of Peru with outstanding hospitality!

We wanted to eat typical Peruvian food and we reserved the table for 3:30 p.m. through the website at 3:30 p.m. When we arrived with two small children, the place was closed, the schedules were not updated on the website, neither was the reservation page, a trip in vain with the children and no one ever contacted us to apologize. I would not recommend this restaurant due to the lack of seriousness.

As a Peruvian living abroad, it is hard to find a place that feels like home. Tierra Peru has the traditional warmth of a Peruvian restaurant, complemented by amazing food, and sided with delicious pisco sours. Their Cordero Huanuqueño (Lamb) is quite special, as the recipe comes from the owner's mom back in Huánuco, Perú. Their ceviches are very well done and well-served as well.
Everyone that works there has a great energy and add a lot to the experience. I have been there a couple of times and will come back again for sure.

no means of service; I arrived here at 20:45, and the awful owner said that he couldn't take order anymore. The fact is, this restaurant closes at 22:00, but at 20:45 the owner told me that he can't take the order??!!

I went to Tierra Peru for my birthday in February and again recently for the Sunday buffet. This place is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in London: the food is authentic and excellent in terms of quality; the prices are extremely reasonable, particularly when considering the standard of the food; and the staff are extremely friendly, which truly reflects the warm culture embodied by Latin American people.
London is a truly diverse city with much to offer in terms of global cuisines. I tend not to revisit restaurants as I feel it is a waste of an experience given the plethora of choices in London. However, Tierra Peru is so unique, I will frequent this restaurant until the day I leave London.

We found ourselves here on a rainy Monday evening, after the choice of my eldest son, who lives permanently in London. It was not very crowded (3 tables), the service was good, the food was different from the European ones and the big TV above the head, you show us videos from you tube with scenes from Peru and Lima. I think it was too expensive for what it offers but it was interesting. Well, we went once, it was enough...

Excellent service and super good food. Most importantly authentic Peruvian food. We went on a Sunday, and were lucky enough that they got a buffet on Sundays, so we had the chance to try multiple dishes. Highly recommended.

This small and unassuming restaurant could be missed tucked away up the Essex Road slightly off the beaten track from the Angel hub, but it's worth a little stroll. Truly!
The service from Julius Caesar - the restaurant owner and front of house - was fully attentive and accommodating. He liked that my friend was curious about making the food, sharing ingredients and recipes with him too.
He helped us decide what to order and returned regularly to check if all was ok.
The food, was delicious! Really good, but I was so stuffed from the starter (we ordered an extra one we saw at another table), and tasting my mate's that I took half of mine home and shared with my daughter for tea.
Lamb chops were great, with cornmeal, sweet potatoes and more.
We did't even give the dessert menu a look in.
To be honest I had a voucher that I used which is why we went but would definitely go back. It, without the voucher even with 1 glass of wine, would have been more than I expected to pay. But food, service all top marks!
I have to say their local Inka cola is definitely an acquired taste and was kinda yuk but it was the only down side.

We travelled from South Wales to meet our son who lives in London and took him for lunch to Tierra Peru to celebrate his birthday. From the moment we arrived the staff was warm and welcoming. Everything we ate and drank was full of flavour and very delicious. At the end the waiters and chef sang happy birthday to my son and one waiter was all dressed up with his Peruvian poncho, hat and smiles all around. It was a fantastic experience and we look forward to go back soon. Highly recommended! Thanks to all the staff from Tierra Peru on Sunday 20th November 2022 we had a fantastic time!

Came for my daughter's 21st birthday.
The food was adequate, starters were pretty good but the mains are nothing special. Pisco sours were pretty awful (too sour, no sugar syrup, might have been better with some ice to dilute). I don't understand the good reviews here on the food, the chicken starter was great but the rest of the meal was really basic.
But i'm still annoyed that I was overcharged at the end of the meal - one beer and a coke came to £21 and a £1 surcharge for having the sours not wine...excluding the £29 already paid for the groupon voucher.
still don't understand. We actually declined the two desserts that we had paid for in the deal, so I don't know why the manager went ahead and ripped us off at the end.
£21 for two drinks made no sense, I was too embarrassed to question at the time, my daughter's 21st birthday and didn't want to make a fuss.
Not happy. Really sad to have such a memory for my daughter's 21st..me puzzling over the bill.

U have travelled to peru 11 times as I have close friends that live there. I can confirm the food and ambience is authentic. Worth a visit if you would like to try some peruvian food as it has great options from ceviche, to chifa (fried rice) and Chica a purple sweet corn drink lovely a bit similar to a non acholic sangria if you want alcohol grab a pisco sour. Would return again tommorrow and hope to soon.

Amazing place! Absolutely recommend 100%. Cesar, is the best host ever! He treated us so well, like I was back home in Perú. We went today for the buffet, which they offer every Sunday, and this is without doubt the best buffet. My boyfriend is vegetarian and Tierra Perú were so kind in accommodating his dietary requirements.
This place is so authentic, if you wanna experience Peruvian cuisine and the Peruvian culture of how warm they can be, please go to Tierra Peru, definitely the best place by far. Thank you Cesar and team.

This is an unpretentious, authentic restaurant with absolutely superb food and customer service. The cervice was divine and the Pisco sour was a masterpiece. We chose one bento box between two of us as the portions are generous and it gave us the option to try three different dishes. Each was superb, fresh and with very special flavours. A must try as far as I am concerned.
