I love the ambience at Sketch, we had late dinner at the gallery. A few of us had steak and desserts, not sure whether it was because it was late, but we had higher expectations. I even had mac and cheese to go with steak-slightly...was underwhelming this time. The ambience in sketch made up for it and the trip to the washrooms is still a hoot.More

We had heard so much about this afternoon tea that we decided to book. It was a complete disappointment. The first thing to let this place down was it was overbooked and understaffed. We waited ages to be served. They do not offer decaf tea...which is something you would expect seeing its an afternoon tea!. The fruit scones were hard and stale and even when we pointed this out and fresh ones were offered, they too were hard and stale. The petit gateaux were nothing to write home about either. They were offering a choice of two yule logs as an extra treat but when it came to ours we were not given a choice. This white meringue log was served straight from the fridge. It was cold and tasteless and not at all what was expected. We pointed this out to one of the managers who told us he would not be putting service on our bill as it reflected our experience. Oh and if you are claustrophobic you will not like the toilets. All in all a bad experience and we will not be returning.More

We came here for a Christmas afternoon tea, 3 of us and yes we did take a champagne tea and have 2 of the cheapest bottles of rose wine but when the bill is then £430 it’s just way too much! Yes, lovely afternoon but...the price seems way too high on reflection, even with a ballerina on the hour, every hour! Of course the place is very instagrammable and feel it rides on that. The food was nice and we had a lovely time, just grimaced at the bill!More

Sketch is first and foremost super trendy, with many diners taking pictures for their Instagram feed, but the food is (nearly) as good as the buzz. I was also pleasantly surprised by the friendly service (not at all pretentious, which you might expect at a...place like this).More

For years I have wanted to come here. We all know the Instagrammable pink decor, pod bathrooms, etc. So, I expected it to be a tourist trap good for some photos and maybe a decent meal if lucky. What I actually experienced was above and...beyond all of that. This was my 1st dinner during my London trip last week. Reservations are a must - I made mine weeks prior and loved how I got an immediate response (thank you Emma) to a simple email asking which room would be best for a first timer. Answer: The Gallery. Was not disappointed…every part of the experience from start to finish was one for the books. Let’s start with their Sommelier, Henry. The youngest but BEST I have ever encountered. He was so knowledgeable/passionate and steered me PERFECTLY. I had 3 delectable glasses of wine including dessert, each different but complemented my meal perfectly. My server Adam was also excellent. I let him guide my entree and dessert choices and omg. Just perfection. The dover sole was not only beautiful but impeccable. I took on bite and melted...(get it filleted and with potato puree) as I was so surprised how good the food was there. Dessert was also quite the sight (opted for the "Sketch Chocolate"). Time flew (between my courses and making fast friends with the table of gals next to me). At the 2.5 hour mark Adam so politely asked if I wouldn’t mind moving to the bar which I would have, but knew it was time to roll myself out! Loved every minute, highly recommended.More

My son and I had a lovely time at Sketch; we chose the afternoon tea with rosé champagne. All the food was fabulous. A visit to the loos was like nothing we'd ever experienced. You go up a sort of glass 'stairway to heaven', reminiscent...of 'Local Hero', and at the top are a clutch of egg-shaped individual cubicles. There are also exuberant decorations featuring flamingos. A violin trio was playing in the restaurant (very agreeably) and when they stopped a ballerina appeared, looking like the Sugar Plum Fairy, and danced between the tables. We couldn't believe our eyes. – it was magical. I wonder if she appears all year, or just at Christmas? Our waitress Phoebe ws quite delightful; she obliged by taking photos, she checked regularly where we had all we needed, and genuinely seemed to be enjoying working there. We finished off our afternoon with a brief trip to Liberty's. A really great experience.More

Staff at the door made me and my date queue in a storm for no reason, many people in the line were complaining and they continued to let people stand in the torrential rain. However some people skipped the queue and walked straight in, I...questioned the door why this was happening and offered £200 cash to enter they refused and wouldn’t give an explanation and told me to get back in line. Over hyped, staff are jobs worth.More

We originally booked our table to be in the parlour because we loved the pink decor but after looking at the menu, we decided we had made a mistake, since we were looking for something more filling than afternoon tea. The staff were amazing, they...found us a seat straight away in The glade room, which was a visual treat in itself. When the food arrived it was just as tasty as imagined it.More

Not sure, Just go on-line and look at the different menu offerings. One thing is for sure the food was great and if in any doubt just ask the waiter. The staff were amazing when we went there in June during lock down

I would recommend to book a table also for drinks because the place can be very busy at night, especially at weekends. You can try walk in if you don't mind going to another place if the place is too busy.
