The Super Crush beer is an excellent option for those that can't drink too much beer, it's super tasty, 👌🏼 to me it works as a female beer. Absolutely exceptional. The vibe there is great especially on days with live music in one of the...most beautiful places in Cape Town, Scarborough.More

Stopped for a drink when passing. Live music, a great vibe and the smell of BBQ'ing fish that looked stunning. Drinks and food (fish, salad and potato gratin to die for) later we left thinking this is one of the greatest eateries in the Cape....The lady manager (owner?) was very engaging and the brai chef knows his stuff!! Will be back again next tripMore

Stayed in Scarborough for a few days over new years an stopped in here for dinner. Twice. The mussels in white wine sauce are a 40 year old recipe of the restaurant and is absolutely delicious. Choose the bread side as the sauce is delicious...and needs to be mopped up! The mussels at the Brass Bell are not even remotely as good. To chase you have to try locally brewed Scarbrew Blonde Ale made just down the road. Liezl Marie looked after us like we were family, we couldn't have asked for more 🙏🏻More

I just visited Camel Rock and noticed that they have a new range of delicious ice creams in the shop section of the restaurant. I decided to try one and it was absolutely delicious. I’m impressed that they had sugar free and vegan options too....Really lovely for the summer coming up.More

Excellent meal, great atmosphere, good service from all the staff. Our waitress, Liesl-Mari, paid attention to detail, was friendly and fun too. A good dining experience. The final rugby match (Sprinboks vs All Blacks will be on a huge screen 28 October 2023).

We stopped here for lunch. Good place. Friendly vibe. Good service. The beach is only 5 mins away which made it very appealing as the kids lost their focus after time

We stumbled upon this gem after arriving in misty cliffs from a long day of travel. We were immediately greeted by Liezl who was friendly and welcoming. She helped us with the menu and we went with the daily specials which were a butter chicken...and line caught yellowfin. They were both excellent! We also got an extra order of prawns which were cooked perfectly! To top it off we had some of the vegan chocolate cake which was such a treat! We can’t wait for our next visit!More

Well there you are, just when I thought I would get a bang average burger on their Wednesday night R50 burger night, Camel Rock came up trumps! I added chips so was R75 for both! It was a plain burger ( I always normally have...sauce) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Really impressed, so well done Camel Rock. Come on… for R75!!!!More

This was unplanned, visited a friend and she decided we all go to camel Rock for dinner, I have been there a few times, but for me it was extra special this time. We arrived and decided to sit inside as it was cold out, but...what a lovely atmosphere, there was a young lady singing some jazz accompanied by a guitarist, it was so lovely, they have a piano which anyone is welcome to play, and the one guy who was with us decided to play, wow he certainly grabbed the intention of the customers, to eventually some other musicians who happened to be there for dinner joined in with their guitars and they performed together, wow it was great. For dinner i decided on pizza, the zesty chicken is my favorite, and my friends had the lamb potjie, it was a special they had, and recommended by Franco who was our waiter. We all enjoyed our meals and were just having such a good time, it was just a good vibe and energy. Exactly what I needed a chilled evening with some relaxing music and good food. Great job camel rock team, will be back.More

Good customer service, we were and hour late,(holiday traffic) and they still reserved our 10 seater table after calling. Yellow tail was good, the mexican burgers were just overcooked (we didnt specify doness) but the zesty pizza was dry and flavourless yet everyone had a...great time. Only downside was the inconsiderate smokers.More

We came here for a meal on a Monday night when most other places in the area appeared to be shut. It’s a good thing we weren’t deterred by the seemingly relaxed approach to cleanliness (sticky tables with food crumbs), because the food turned out...to be very good. The Camel Rock offers vegan and gluten free options, and locally sourced fresh greens. If you’re not too worried about the cleanliness, this is the place to go. The gluten free pizza had a paper thin base and a generous amount of cheese, and the homemade burger with cheddar was superb. Food here comes highly recommended if you’re looking for a relaxed meal out.More

I was taking a trip trough the Western Cape, and came across this small local restaurant in Scarborough. The venue is 'homegrown' and pleasant with a small grocery store inside the restaurant, which has both indoor and outdoor seating. The special of the day was...freshly caught tuna ... absolutely excellent!!!More
