To start with after we got seated the waiter was rude and looked like they did not want to be there. They did not understand what i wanted to order and brang me the wrong drink! The starter was bland and definitely old. We waited...for a while for the food as they prioritized the takeaways!! We left extremely disappointed and the next day we even had a stomache bug. Amazing Indian

My first time at chutneys.. after many friends recommending it. It was absolutely delicious. Food very well presented… lovely restaurant. Excellent service.. Can’t wait to come back.

Good but not great

Nice environment and good food but tonight service was slow and impersonal. This place can be so much better than it was tonight and food lacked authenticity

Indian evening out

Indian food with a modern twist. Extensive menu of traditional dishes, and some with a more modern twist. Excellent food and service, ample portion sizes. Will be back

Fantastic takeaway & service

This was the best Indian take out l can remember. We stopped by to order and as only staying two doors away the guy who took our order offered to bring it round when ready! We settled for him giving us a call when ready...which he did as promised after 30 minutes. We had chef’s specials, which I would recommend. Definitely a place to visit again when we are next back in Shaftesbury.More

Absolutely delicious

l ordered from.Chutneys for the first time. The meal was really lovely, hot asl had it delivered to my home. It was lovely tender chicken, the aloo gobi was the best l have tasted. Thank you Chutneys l will be back

For the love of Indian food - Shaftesbury

A total winner. We love Indian food and are very picky but the food here was superb. Our waiter, a very English person, was on hand the whole time and very competent. I think he was leaving for pastures new, so good luck. We'll be...back though for sure!More

Not to be missed.

Exceptional food, service and atmosphere. Best Indian restaurant I have ever been too. I had the slow cooked lamb shank and it is still making my mouth water. Really lovely.
