Fell across this restaurant this evening after not being able to get a table along the sea front. What a find, the food is amazing, flavours out of this world and the presentation was excellent. Exceptionally clean and covid friendly. Customer service was brilliant. So...sad I come from London as this would be a regular visit for me and my familyMore
Good varied menu, especially the choice of starters.
Kebabs excellent which even our fussy son fell for!
Try the dishes with the yoghurt accompanying them; it is an excellent match
The aubergine and tomato hot starter was terrific
Roasted meat is not on menu (like you may have in a greek restaurant)
Limited selection of wine by glass, and no 125ml measures. The wine is good quality though
Rice comes with nearly everything. However this may be a feature of turkish main courses?More
Ate here as the reviews looked positive ( although fast realising this means little as food and service is so subjective) Without going into detail because it's simply not worth it, our dishes were bland, uninteresting, not presented well in the least or delivered to...the table with any love or enthusiasm, keep your plastic sachets of mayonnaise for roadside cafes not restaurants with prices to match ..... I've owned and run restaurants for many many years, and still cannot believe the praise that is heaped on some establishments that frankly ( in our case anyway ) don't deserve it ......and putting a service charge on a bill without giving the customer an option is frankly laughable in today's hospitality sector, could have asked to have it removed but frankly too tired of the whole thing to even bother, the experience was poor anyway, why make it worse? We won't be back and they won't care, which says it all really.More

Hello, we are very sorry to hear that you have had such a poor experience with us and due to being a family run restaurant we do in fact care and take into consideration everyone’s reviews to heart. As you have explained about running restaurants...More
Visited Agora after reading the many good reviews, and was not disappointed. Booked online - easy enough. Sucuk starter along with the Aubergine dish - both lovely. Main dish was a Lamb Shish and Lamb Beyti - both cooked to perfection. The Lamb Beyti is...pictured many times on here with the little parcels wrapped in bread. The lamb is delicious. Portions sized just right. Prices excellent, along with the service. All COVID regulations complied with. If in Bournemouth you must give this place a try - I am sure you will be well satisfied!More
The first time my friends and I were in Bournemouth and we spotted this little gem. The best homemade Mediterranean food I’ve had in ages!!!! I cannot recommend enough, the food is unbelievably tasty and the staff is so warm and friendly. Definitely a must-go!
We had a lovely evening we was not disappointed the food was top notch, after eating at many Turkish restaurants around the UK this is the best we have had, was like being in Turkey with the local cuisine, the service was excellent and the...staff was so friendly, took time to come amd speak to us, the atmosphere was lovely .. The chef cooked with love and that reflected on the taste of the food. The baklava and another dessert we had was delicious we will definitely be back and would definitely recommend. Thanks for making our anniversary meal so enjoyable guys.More
Food was absolutely delicious, very tasty, the service was good. Definitely recommend the tabbouleh and hummus. Very good dinner overall. Reasonably priced as well. Would definitely visit again if I lived in Bournemouth. X
