Beyond excellent.

The reputation of R.U. Hungries is excellent, and we were told by many locals to go. They did not disappoint. Their fries are the best I've had all year, the burgers were perfectly charbroiled, they had a wide variety of salads there (the chicken curry pasta salad was stunning), and we even went back for a milk shake to finish off our day. In addition to excellent food, the place was spotlessly clean, and they were a wealth of knowledge about local attractions and services. I can't wait to return on my next trip north.

Great fries and salads at a good price!

The fries were homemade and delicious, as was their chili con carne and salads! Several salads looked so good it had me humming and hawing at their selection for a few minutes, but after trying I highly recommend their Italian pasta salad. Busy place had people coming and going, saw they offer other foods too like ice creams cones, pizza, panzerotti, etc. They don't have a dining area anymore but replaced the tables with shelves of some basic foods like you'd see in anyones pantry although I looked at some of the prices and wondered if they were able to reduce the prices on those items a bit to see if items would sell much faster from those shelves since there isn't a grocery store in Haileybury?? Doesn't really matter though since their kitchen still makes some really good foods and at a good price.

Poutine, Pizzas, and Panzarottis ... Oh, My!

We have been going to R U Hungries since they were located in the New Liskeard Mall. Great quality and friendly service is always guaranteed! I can't beleive that no one has mentioned the POUTINE and PIZZAS/PANZAROTTIS!?!? They are fantastic!! Whenever we are visiting, we always make time to visit. It never disappoints :)

It’s the 3rd time I order food from them and never again. Today I got a jumbo hotdog and it was really messy. It wasn’t very appetizing to open the bag and see my hotdog all messy, like I had to wipe the bread with a napkin in order to grab it without having my hands all full of condiments. Not very impressed.

So sorry for your negative experience. Since the pandemic started we have been topping the hotdogs and sausages for the customers with condiments, since we are no longer able to leave catch-up and mustard out for them to use at their leisure. Unfortunately, once wrapped, this can make your hot dog look ugly when you get home. Henceforth we will not be topping Any hotdogs or sausages for the customers, we will simply provide the condiments on the side so they can top it the way they like. Next time please contact us so we have an opportunity to make it right, as we have strived and worked very hard for more than a quarter of a century to build a good reputation and it’s terribly unfortunate to have a solid over a messy hotdog any hotdogs or sausages for the customers, we will simply provide the condiments on the side so they can top it the way they like. Best food ever

I buy from there a fair bit and it’s delicious. Their Sausage and hotdogs on a bun is amazing esp. with the fried onion. Their Other foods are really good as well especially the fries ans salads. They are kind and courteous and ask if you want certain things on it before hand which I appreciate. I Love their little grocery store section of the store/ restaurant, very convenient. Everyone should eat here. I appreciate your hard work Lisa, Peter and staff

This restaurant is perfect for your every day takeout. Love to come here for lunch with my toddler, they are always so kind. Fast, clean and friendly. Great owners and who appreciate their guests. Must try their poutines or burgers, second to none.

Amazing food, great personable service and rustic decor! Best burger I've had in a long time! (They offer caramelized onions on it.) Fresh cut fries... awesome! They even have a deli and a great assortment of salads for sides (for those so inclined). They even have sports memorabilia and hockey card assortment! We'll definitely be back!

Never want to leave town because of them

My husband and daughter and I moved to Haileybury Ontario almost 2 years ago and when we first went there it was simply amazing then the pandemic started and we thought oh no where are we going to go for a family meal or ice cream since we didn't have a car at first well they stayed opened and still made things pleasant as people didn't know what to do during COVID the ladies are amazing and do the best they can with what the government has allowed them and the Owners well Pete and his wife has went out of their way to make us feel welcomed to the town and they go as far as serving Christmas supper to everyone and anyone they don't ask for donations it comes from them from their family to everyone's family the food is delicious and they serve ice cream as well they even gave kids and teachers free ice cream they are amazing

Great food but cash only . during a pandemic you should have a hands free option to pay .either they don't care about the safety of their customers or avoiding taxes when I mention this to the employee she got very offended and angry so I may have touched a cord

My family often enjoys the fries from R.U. Hungries. The fries are probably the best in the area. Sometimes we get pizza. It's good two. The staff are friendly.

Good Fast Food

Excellent burgers ; .. nice hot fries ; Service is fast and friendly ; servings are generous. ... cost for 3 burgers and 2 fries was about $30. These days it is take out only due to COVID.

Thank you for Christmas, 2019

My wife and I were alone for Christmas and this little restaurant gives back to the community every Christmas. They delivered a delicious Christmas dinner with enough for leftovers the next day. We really appreciate the work of Pete, Lisa and all the volunteers. You made our day. Last year they served over 600 free meals. This year I'm not sure. The restaurant not only has a great menu but you can also purchase cheese, salami's, cold cuts (deli) some produce and local foods.

My favourite is the Greek pasta salad, it’s delicious. Also, amazing poutine and burgers at very good price. Even a little bit of groceries, I found it handy. 😊

This is the place on the four corners that have salads and more salads. Ice Cream was more than 2 scoops and I’m not complaining. The owner is on the ball and knows the “Art of the deal”. We got on real well and I hope the best for him opening another in Sarnia.

Wow! We were visiting in Haileybury and wanted to buy some lunch. Local motel staff mentioned they make good burgers, pizza, etc. We had burgers and salad. Very tasty, great food. Eat in or take out. Great value for your money.
