We visited the lake view patio and were offered great service and a delicious dining experience!! The burgers were cooked to perfection on freshly made buns and the fries were hand cut … the best ever!! Dessert didn’t disappoint either! Our favourite spot in Kincardine...where the sunsets from the patio never grow old!More

Terrible service, we tried to order takeout the boy behind the bar had no idea how to take the order. We specifically asked for utensils and napkins got none. Apparently they had run out. Not sure how a restaurant runs out of utensils. The food...was horrible, greasy mess. We were all very disappointed, none of us had a good mealMore

The food can be great, but it's very inconsistent. The menu is limited which is usually a good sign for a restaurant in my mind. Easier to perfect a small menu. But I feel this is one restaurant that really struggles with take-out. I know...it's hard but their product struggles. I think they need to take a look on how they are baking their buns. We've tried their burgers a few times, and the buns feel like they're stale each time. I'm not sure if they are stale, or if this happens in the take out box, but it's hard to eat. Also, the menu items are very niche. If you're going to have a small menu you have to cater to the market and some of the items aren't exactly invitingMore

This was our only “Covid” dinner out and we are so glad that we waited until our annual visit to Kincardine. We were able to eat on their lovely patio. Our waitress was friendly and helpful and our meals were excellent! My husband’s pub curry...was perfect. I had salmon accompanied by a delicious Swiss chard and wild rice side. Someone mentioned in a review that the prices were expensive, but we do not find that to be the case! Great real food at a great price. The restaurant was busy and it was a Wednesday night. So good to see, in these unusual times. Good luck this winter! Hope to see you in 2021!More

In the midst of Covid this place was a breath of fresh air. Incredible sunset views, friendly staff, fun assortment of drinks, charcuterie board to die for, delicious oysters, good sized main. I can’t say enough. But you do pay for it.

Hubby and I left teens at hotel and had a nice dinner. Good food, drinks and the creme brûlée was soooo good. Back patio overlooks Lake Huron.

We read the reviews and decided to try the restaurant. The charcuterie board was lovely, nice and varied selection of meats, cheeses and pickles. However, the jerk chicken shepherds pie was just not enjoyable at all. Chicken spices were good but chunks of dried chicken...and a mash that wasn’t a mash. The chicken curry, was ok, but again a bit dry. Service was good, location is lovely...but food was disappointing.More

Had dinner there last night. Caesar salad, gazpacho apps followed by a jerked chicken shepherd pie and fish and chips. Caesar salad - homemade dressing and croutons were fresh however the lettuce was on its way & tired and the overall salad was mediocre, underdressed...& underwhelming. Gazpacho - this was a puréed smooth form, with a nice medley of balanced flavors. It needed a bit more life as boredom set in. I’ve experience gazpacho’s in the past that are in your face and leave you wanting more. Tempura battered fish and chips- they have nailed perfect frits- crispy, perfectly cooked with a tender core. However despite a generous portion, the fish was overcooked and the batter lost its light tempura essence. The jerked chicken shepherds pie is a wonderfully interesting concept however the jerked sauce itself was over powering the dish ( not balanced ) and fatigued my taste buds half way through. The piped mashed were so overcooked they were almost indistinguishable with just trace evidence of corn and onion 🧅- why bother The wine selection is well thought out and presented in beautiful stemware with a healthy pour. Service was friendly but strained. Our waitress never eyeballed her section and was very compartmentalize and her service. She needed to be prompt often rather than executing 101 standard service and anticipating our needs, IE empty wine glasses that needed refilling. Overall it’s up there with restaurant reality...... most are forgettable, some are OK and few are exceptional. RCMore

We are breakfast here today and were very impressed. The huevos rancheros and eggs benny were excellent as are their chunky home fries. The service was also excellent. Next time I'll go for their breakfast poutine as it looked amazing too.
