We found Zona Braza to be a beautiful restaurant with an ocean view and delicious food. It is so beautiful and even cocktails at the beach bar was amazing. The owners are lovely people and it shows with the way they greet their guests and the personal touches that they have put in and around the resort. A very special place.

Good food in general at a reasonable price but not much choice for the charcoal for a restaurant dedicated to this specialty. Very limited wine list.

This restaurant is part of a Beach Lodge complex that also offers accommodation. It is quite a few kilometers away from the main road but a stunning location on the dunes above the sea (don't think about cyclones).
The restaurant has a typical seaside ambience and the menu offers Portuguese-styled food as well as a few regular favourites.
The wine and drinks were cold although the waiter seemed to have difficulty understanding our selections even when we pointed at the items on the menu.
It was a Sunday afternoon and there were many patrons. Were we a bit late at 13h30 or does the food always taste like it was made last week?
We were 7 people and not one had compliments for their selections. My kabeljou had not seen the sea for a long time - small, dry, tasteless. The same was said about the chicken by others around the table. The younger people filled up on chips.....
I wonder if I would try it again? Probably not.
